Arrested Expansion is a symbolic scene that depicts a combination of self-excluding objects that might not be present in real life. Objects in the secluded room make the viewer feel claustrophobic and unreal, which might be compared to someone’s mental delusion based on a medical condition. Image is a mixture of photo stock with some 2D vectors, and 3D objects. Photoshop, 3ds max, Illustrator. / The most common cause of cardiac arrest is a heart rhythm disorder or arrhythmia called ventricular fibrillation (VF). The heart has a built-in electrical system. When a contraction happens, blood is pumped. But in ventricular fibrillation, the electrical signals that control the pumping of the heart suddenly become rapid and chaotic. As a result, the lower chambers of the heart, the ventricles, begin to quiver (fibrillate) instead of contract, and they can no longer pump blood from the heart to the rest of the body. If blood cannot flow to the brain, it becomes starved of oxygen, and the person loses consciousness in seconds. runnin’ wild This image was shot using a LOMO Action Sampler and 400 ASA Superia Fuji Film hence the slight grain. other shots using the lomo action sampler One-second has been neatly dissected into four composite parts and lined up in perfect order to give you one shaky piece of 2×2 sampled action. / Tis more than a photograph and not quite a movie, you’ve got a permanent documentation of a snippet taken from your very own existence somewhere in the time-space continuum. / Tis also one wacky piece of photographic equipment, tis a real camera which consists of a tacky plastic box with four lenses strapped to the front, and inside are a few springs and cogs that reluctantly turn a full circle when you press the shutter release. / By some strange coincidence a standard boring old 35 mm film fits neatly into this box. Each time you hit the shutter release, despite the inferior quality of the lenses, light actually exposes the film at quarter-of-a-second intervals. / As soon as it’s bright enough the Action Sampler’s lenses go into action, giving you unexpected colours, haze and blur and a whole new world of shapes that’ll blow your mind. / The Action Sampler is not a finely tuned piece of apparatus made only of the finest in hand-crafted modern materials, it’s made of plastic. It is not a precision instrument with settings for the slightest nuance in aperture and lighting, it won’t even take a flash and the lenses are moody little beasties, reluctant to let any light get to the film at all.

The most amazing thing I have been able to capture. I was so excited this turned out so good and in focus. This little guy was a perfect model for me, very professional, lol. He was so great, I was really able to just take my time and get as many shots as I could. Very little editing was done to this, I made the background a little darker with the burn tool, but the rest was all camera. I love it! Enjoy!!!! /
