  • I put on my boots this morning and went tromping through the woods. I spotted this tiny ladybug on a wildflower leaf and snapped away. She stood stockstill, very cooperative, for her photo shoot. My thanks to Sister Ladybug for her patience as I invaded her space.

  • Synthetic polymer paint and newspaper collage on paper. From a series documenting friends who have died from HIV/AIDS related illnesses. Chris’s new glasses finally arrived, the day before he died. He could barely breath, each breath racked his body. The effort of reaching and shakily putting on his glasses seemed to take forever, and exhausted him. He turned his face to me – a skull on a skeleton with a tissue of skin scraped over it. “How do I look?” he asked.

  • Synthetic polymer paint and newspaper collage on paper. From a series documenting friends who have died from HIV/AIDS related illnesses. We’d sit on the same park bench every Sunday afternoon. “At least I’m a natural blond,” David, a model, would sniff about some passer-by, and JohnG and I would laugh. / This was our last outing together. David didn’t leave our apartment. Confined to his bed for the next two years, slowly wasting away, alternating between diarrhoea and constipation depending on how much morphine he’d had. JohnG quit his job and cared for David. / After David’s death, John G compiled David’s funny and moving comments and convinced a newspaper to publish them. / After the publication JohnG became ill and died. /

Lora aged 11 years old, carries Princess, her sister on her back. Lora is now responsible for her sisters care, as her mum died during childbirth. Lora’s aunt who was breastfeeding at the time of Princess birth took princess and breastfed her also. Now Lora must do what she can to raise her baby sister. • Nobody in the village knew his name or where he came from. Abandoned and very sick, he came slowly to us and just sat down at my feet. My deep passion to help those who are very much less fortunate that we are burn every second of each day. I am deeply Inspired By the suffering and desperate struggle of these often abandoned children, to reach out even more to help them in their hour of need. Its not what we take with us when we die, as we shall take no wealth or materials with us. it is what we can leave behind that really matters to God. To leave clean water wells, the ability to grow good quality food, Medical care is what really motivates me. I am sorry that I seem to upload hard sometimes unpleasant images on my site, but I cannot hide the real truth about the suffering in extreme and isolated areas of remote Africa. You won’t see images of this type on Safari brochures or tourist holiday websites. Yet children like this little boy suffer so much. We can together help many children like this precious child. Philadelphia Mission [Reg No: 1049410] is a British charity working with extreme poor in isolated and rural villages in Africa. We are ALL unpaid volunteers and we with a few friends cover all charity overheads and expenses, which are small. ALL DONATIONS WE RECEIVE GOES TOWARD THESE PRECIOUS PEOPLE. EVERY LAST PENNY GOES INTO PROJECTS THAT SAVE AND BETTER LIVES Every little helps. PLEASE PRAY FOR US AND THESE PEOPLE. God hears, He cares and he answers prayers. Even a 4 Wheel drive has great problems getting to the Village. We got stuck three more times. the kambari tribe are in great need of help. Poverty and sickness is rampant and they have no well, as it caved in. Please pray for our Mission and the precious people who sufefr so much. • Angel just turned 5 years old and until recently was very well. In February 2009 she became ill, and blood tests showed she was HIV+. We have been treating here with HIV/AIDS drugs since then, now she gets a good stable diet as well. The drugs will only work if the carrier has a high protein, high fiber diet. My deep passion and inspiration to help as many suffering children in remote villages in Africa, as I and the Charity can. We depend on Gods provisions and your kindness. It is with your donations we could do this. Please keep on donating and Praying. You really do make a difference. Some foolish Big organizations pump many free AIDS drugs into Africa and other countries, But many will not work as the extreme poor cannot afford good quality food. both Good quality food and the drugs work well together, and will not work effectively independent of each other. • PLEASE READ THIS. / Taken in Ungwa/fada village, in remote Nigeria. This was not staged for a photographs, I wasa walking around the remmote village early in the morning and saw this beautiful child praying. These villagers are extremely poor, and many are sick. Their well has caved in and Rickets is rampant here. No hospitals, or school within easy reach, and there is no main roads for 30 miles. We are helping as many as we can. My Passion and calling in life is to do more than just Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to these poor people, but to with your help and Gods increase meet their needs and help them live better lives. This is my attempt to add something different to the original. I am very new to Paintshop pro and copy and pasting images into other Photographs. I am excited as I have tried many times before and failed. I have much to learn. ALL PROCEEDS FROM SALE OF MY ART, DONATED ART AND DONATIONS MADE VIA OUR CHARITY MISSION WEBSITE, GOES TO HELP EXTREME POOR AND SICK IN RURAL AND REMOTE VILLAGES IN AFRICA.
