Hello – we are about to make a few updates to the user agreement that I’d like to bring to your attention: 1. We’ve removed the following paragraph referring to the RedBubble Beta Phase: “Beta phase RedBubble is currently in its beta phase. This is a trial period during which we will be offering limited functionality to the RedBubble service. There may be interruptions to this service while we upgrade our website and its capabilities. We will let you know when the official website launches and this beta phase is complete.” 2. We’ve included a line detailing how people can close their account: “You may close your account at any time by logging into your account, clicking on the hyperlink titled ‘cancel your account’, which appears at the following address: http://www.redbubble.com/mybubble/account, and by clicking on the button titled ‘Yes, really cancel my account’ that appears on the subsequent web page.” 3. We’ve removed the following line from the Agency Agreement (as we’ve stopped applying rounding): “3.2 When calculating the retail price for your product we may round up to the nearest dollar. Any rounding up amount will be paid to you.” 4. We’ve changed any reference to ”$” in the User Agreement to “US$”. - Peter

  • After the James Blunt concert at Sydney Entertainment Quarter at mid-night, my friends decided to go and see the balloons in Canberra in the early morning. I drove to canberra in 4 hours and wow, so peaceful and energetic and the same time. Commonwealth Place, Canberra, Australia / 2006-04-15 4:52 AM – Yes the time is the key! • A question had been posed…. though it was given through Yukiko to another, the shyness showed clearly along with the hint of hesitation. The answer had been given with another question in return! To whom this had been given to? We have yet to find out.

  • All too often notions of civility, decorum, professionalism, and/or expediency are confused with demands to submit or agree to a set of propositions which one finds untenable. It was announced a few days ago by Jim Baird, Canada’s Environment Minister, that all queries put to scientists employed by Environment Canada were to be filtered in both directions (both from the public, and to the public) through a central media office. / This image was conceived before the public announcement of this new policy, but I find it relevant nonetheless. What I am undecided upon, and what may be undecidable, is the position of the humanoid figure. Is he issuing an edict from a smug assurance of power, or is he responding in outrage to an untenable position being placed upon him ? / In either case, what will follow ? Will there be some kind of scene ? Is the outraged party in a position to affect any change? If so, of what nature ? On what terms ? / Is there a confusion of issues in his mind, as when an unreflective mind lashes out at a chance affront, or is there an informed clarity ? Is the outrage all out of proportion to the stimulus, and does the subject link the matter at hand to other matters, matters private and/or historic ? Will this linking have any coherency, and will it be communicable to others ?

Now they’re arguing outside my window / Two floors down / On the sidewalk / Back and forth

“The Agreement” – poetry – summer in the city and things always heat up. . .

  • Legacy of the Spirit is a expression of the price of pure truth. It is done with the soul of what does it cost to save us from ourselves. I used the image of movement white and blue and then a signature of power. The splash of blood is also part of the signature. We agree with the interloctertory agreement between our souls and the testator of pure love. If it doesn’t make sense look at the painting. Ray

Who has the most experience? Who makes the final decision. Is he really the captain… or does she drive the ship? Anyways… I’m glad I’m not in that decision process.. we ended up in second overall.. then came the comments of… we coulda shoulda.. if we did… your fault… no napkins?... i’m hot.. turn the music off… put the camera down.. we are racing.. darn.. the camera got wet.. my poor camera.. I can start to see the salty crust as the water evaporates… home at last.

  • This is a print from the Parables Series of original linoleum prints. It addresses the issue of child welfare and how nations (governments) resolve to care for their young which is an indication of how they regard the well-being of their people in general. Policies that do not support or promote the health, safety, and education of children ultimately fail the nation and it’s people.

  • THIS WAS A PART OF LIFE STUDY ,OF EMOTIONS, IN NUDE FIGURE DRAWING AT THE ACADEMY OF ART IN SAN FRANCISCO

  • Personal Evolution series / 16”x20” acrylic on canvas

  • this image i created after a dream i had several years ago.. well.. a few years after my accident, a while after i started my therapy. i had difficulties accepting my disability so needed some councelling. this dream was one of the first anchorpoints in my journey.. it shows me, the grown up me, and the child-me walking hand in hand into the setting sun. it was and still is a very strong image for me.. two of my sides having joined, walking the path together… / the images here appear shadowy.. the reason for this is, that here i am an onlooker, describing my dream.. in the dream i was both.. so did not see myself at all.

  • Marvil's Depressions
    by DevaDaDiva14

He sat up, and chucked the rock at the tree, wishing the tree to snap in two.

This is a piece about a little old man and his depressions. The love of his life lost, and being forced to marry someone he didn’t want to marry and didn’t like at all. I wrote this one day, last year, when I was sitting at home. I was so bored, and randomly decided to write this piece. It’s not finished, but I think when it’s done it will be a lovely, beautiful story of love and adventure. / Thank you for reading! =] P.S. please give me any feedback you might have on my writing.

  • These mist covered mountains / Are a home now for me / But my home is the lowlands / And always will be / Some day you’ll return to / Your valleys and your farms / And you’ll no longer burn / To be brothers in arms Through these fields of destruction / Baptisms of fire / Ive watched all your suffering / As the battles raged higher / And though they did hurt me so bad / In the fear and alarm / You did not desert me / My brothers in arms There’s so many different worlds / So many different suns / And we have just one world / But we live in different ones Now the suns gone to heaven / And the moons riding high / Let me bid you farewell / Every man has to die / But its written in the starlight / And every line on your palm / We’re fools to make war / On our brothers in arms Mark Knopfler / http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XVVZPefbR4&feature=related
