  My name Aglaia originates from Greek Mythology. / Aglaia being one of The Three Graces and daughter of Zeus. / She was the Goddess of Brilliance. This self portrait was shot using a pentax K1000 and lLford black and white film and hand printed using high contrast filters.

Goodbye. © ryan This wonderful poem was written by the very talented writer and good friend / nicole ryan This series was shot the old fashioned way, the camera an old Pentax K1000 with ILford Black and White film and hand printed using high contrast filters. / This public toilet was utterly disgustingly dirty and had not been cleaned for who knows how long. The available light just made it look beautiful! / No post production on this, it’s a straight scan from the original hand printed print.

  This image was shot using 35 mm colour transparency film then chemically cross processed (e6 to c41), doing this can give you lovely green hues. The original analogue photograph was then scanned and only the cubed effect was achieved using photoshop. Some cubes were also slightly desaturated with photoshop too.

  These three images were shot on transparency film and the transparencies were manipulated further using a Daylab printer and Polaroid pull apart film where the film is pulled apart before a positive can be processed. The dyes remaining on the Polaroid film were then transferred by rolling onto blotting paper. This is a very unique technique as you will never be able to reproduce the same image twice. There will always be a different amount of dye remaining on the film each time you do it making each image different from the last. They are presented here as a series.   As part of a series. This image was shot using a / mamiya 220 camera (6X6 medium format) and iLford black and white roll film. The original is printed on Ilford Multigrade IV Fiber Based Paper and this is a scan from it. No editing.
