  • Geothermal power staion @ Wairakei…went on a company beano courtesy of Microsoft…Everyone was still drinking while I was getting ready to head out pre-dawn snapping…not sure who was the maddest :O)

  • Fortune teller sits with crystal ball, tea cup, and cards, ready to predict the future.

  • Picture of a man from the Kombai tribe. Taken in the lowland rainforest of West Papua in Indonesia. He wears tradditional body decorations except the safety pin earing.

  • This is a sculpture that is in front of a building in downtown Sacramento. It is near the Capital. I thought it was so unique because it looks as though the hands are floating in the air. There is a fountain under them, which is empty at the moment, that makes them look as though they are floating on the water.

  • Even on a cloudy day, the vibrancy of nature glows with its own light from within. I wish we as a race could do that more often…begin to glow with our inner light…even in dark times. Happy holidays everyone and I hope you all have an incredibly prosperous new year!

  • Our advancements in technology has leaped in the last 200 years. With this leap of scientific growth combined with our population explosion has brought the world to a critical crossroad. Obviously if we as a society continue upon the path previously taken our miss use of our planet both in contamination and exploitation of its natural resources provides us a bleak prospect for the future. The positive side is the huge trend recently in the development of green focused technologies, this combined with global reclamation we can greatly assist a positive change. Consider this line of thought, if we were to utilize our galactic positioning and begin harvesting the unlimited amount of resources just within our own milky way, I wonder how much faster our planet could begin to heal and at the same time begin to heal us as a race.

  • “Eye of Horus” Fractal Artwork by Leah McNeir, 2008. / With energy swirling throughout, this beautiful fractal flame forms the “Eye of Horus”, an ancient Egyptian symbol of protection, power, regeneration, healing, wisdom & insight. / This symbol, also known as “Wedjat”, “Udjat”, “Eye of the Moon”, “The Eye of Ra”, “The All Seeing Eye”, etc. was also used as a notation of measurement. Split into 6 parts, each respectively representing the fractions: 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32, 1/64. Each part also corresponded to a sense: smell, sight, thought, hearing, taste, touch. / It was believed that this symbol would bring the barer safety, health, wisdom, prosperity, & protection.

  • It is the year 3012 and a thousand years have passed since mankind had polluted the planet to the point that we cannot even breath the air. Everyone must live in domes breathing recycled air, forced to look out and see the plant life that has become while beautiful so toxic that is touch is so corrosive it melts the flesh off in seconds. The waters that flow on the planet look crystal clear and pristine but due to years of toxic waste dumped into the oceans and billowing into the air, the acid rain has concentrated to a degree it is instant death to touch. I guess it would be a apt punishment for man to have to spend its time looking at such ethereal beauty and can never again feel the sand beneath our feet, the smell of flowers in the air, or taste clean mountain spring waters flowing over our lips. Seems far fetched? Hmm I wonder…. Only time will tell the path that mankind will choose to walk!

  • Gregor is one of the ancient ones. Master of the elements, this ancient spirit guide harkens us back to a time before angels, when spirit guides, messengers, and guardians were subtle and more primitive. He lies quietly, as old as the mountains, as strong as the rocks, stability and fortitude his mainstay. With weathered wings that long to soar, eyes that see absolutely everything, and ruby red hearts of the purest crystal, he waits, with patience of the ages, for all humans to awaken to their spirituality. When they do, human and dragon will fly together once again! Until then, he is content to wait, listening to the primordial om, the sound of all being. The original artwork is 9” x 12” on smooth Strathmore Bristol paper, done in pen and ink, and highlighted in metallic silver pen. I finished it on February 23, 2009, as I pondered spirit guides and thought of my grandfather.

  • You hear many terms used by people describing the power of the essence of Earth. It encompasses the inner power pulsing in the very sub-atomic core of every cell on the planet. It is what separates the living materials from the inanimate. Each planet and animal has this energy coursing from it, pulsing with the life force of creation. Call it electro magnetics, chi, ki, primal energy, regardless, it is the essence of life. Throughout history many mystics, sages, and enlightened masters have tapped this flow and performed amazing feats which have astounded those who have witnessed it. Whether in healing of even manipulating the weather the result is the same, it is directing the earth essence with the power of our minds to effect a positive result which benefits the planet. What is not said is that everyone has the ability to tap and access this energy, what we do with it…that is the path of enlightenment! This was made with a combination of Apophysis, Bryce, and finished in Photoshop

  • Not that long ago a stroll through old growth forests was a sight many could experience, but due many of the governmental policies world wide we have consumed many of these ancient depositories of medicinal potentials. In many countries there has been some improvements in a focus on reforestation, but it will still take thousands of years for these forests to obtain the incredible majesty of the many ancient forests that have been lost. We can only hope that each and every one of us decides to take a positive action, not just for us, but for our future generations of children. Have you planted a tree lately?

  • Taken in New Orleans, 2009 in the French Quarter. Apparently, someone is a big fan of Jameson. Textures added are my own except for “Gold Vintage” by Lala Mártin. /

  • Meltdown Acrylic on canvas The photo doesn’t quite capture the luminous greens and blues dancing in the original but hey that’s the way it is when the sunshine don’t shine and the light-bulbs are planet-saving dimlings. / I don’t know what its all about really, there is a pyramid surrounded by an ocean, the rising sun heats the water and it carves its way through a wall of ice. Like the end of the ice-age when the huge wall of ice was slain by the sun and gushed a flood upon the earth – history repeats, past is prophecy and the future is ancient – the ice-age serves as a symbol of what half discerned mysteries will unfold in our time. News Just in / as reported in fictional news magazine ‘what’s round the corner’ by visionary reporter Saul Paddol ”...This remarkable painting struck me immediately as a fearsome angel, and viewed at certain angles, if one knows the right degrees, the face is almost too frightening to look at. This angel has been here for an age, it is standing on the polar ice cap, unperceived by human technology which can only glimpse the physical manifestations of this angels presence, chiefly a warming climate melting the ice. I wouldnt want to speculate on the angel’s intentions, but one things for sure, he cannot be moved by any human attempt…..it will be one heck of a day day when he reveals himself to mankind” perhaps the melting ice is his hourglass.
