Franschhoek, Western Cape, South Africa was founded in 1688 by a large group of French huguenots who brought with them their native culture and knowledge of food and wine. It’s now described as the food and wine heartland of the country. / Bordered by mountains and gorgeous scenery, I had just a few minutes here to take some shots!

On the wide open plains of the Kruger National Park, South Africa, we happened upon this large, lone bull. He seemed to be going somewhere, as he detoured around us slightly, wary of our clicking and whispering. When the brief encounter was over, we both went on our way, perhaps, I’d like to think, better for the meeting…
