America Can Not Afford 4 years of McPain! Need I say anything more? More to come, stay tuned!
This is a red pen and ink drawing of “Adidda Primal” It was unknowingly inspired by a story that a friend pinkyjain told me about how adidda’s ar made with Kangaroo skins. I guess the story stuck because this came out the other night while scribbling. So it is what it is and I hope the story effects you as much as it did me. I have never afforded adiddas but now I never will!
For all those whose dream of owning your own home has been smudged out by the excesses of the “boom” and the related investor-driven real estate greed-fest. Perth has been worst affected, but home affordability is at crisis point all over the Australia, so if anyone wants a T-shirt with another city featured please email me via my blog, The Boomtown Rap
This building was far too good to pass up shooting, although I admit that I’m stumped as to it’s origins. It seems, very much, to be a relic of the ‘70s. I found it on a side road, North of Pittsburgh, between Route 19 and Route 279. It was in an empty lot with a broken down bull-dozer slumbering behind it. I can only imagine that it was some kind of romantic gift kiosk. Still, the irony between the juxtaposition of the name on the roof and the state of the structure and it’s surroundings are a rather compelling commentary…

My T Shirt version of this design was featured on the front page of redbubble!!! check it out…. thank you redbubble! Feathers are so cool aren’t they? I love them. / Apart from being beautiful, to me they represent freedom. This Peacock bird feather was originally hand painted by me onto canvas. Enjoy! peace JJ
