meerimages loved my other rodeo shot ,so I thought I’d add this one too, just for her. / The connection between rider and horse is apparent when you consider this shot was captured during a barrel race. The horse is in full gallop and the rider standing high in the stirrups to allow her horse its full stretch, and they moved as one. / Picton Rodeo 2007.

This art product was put together with 18×24 canvas wood panel, and Painters Putty. I use only the finest Acrylic paint from Golden. The hand is conceptual piece representing emotions and feelings. Everyone was watching the great performance offered by some members of the Cirque du Soleil, in the Old Port of Montreal. Everyone… except this couple, too enthralled by each other to take notice of their surroundings. It seems that love can sing louder than a crowd. Played a bit with the late afternoon light in Photoshop to isolate the couple from the crowd just a little more. Focal length 200 mm / ISO-200 / Aperture f/8 / Shutter 1/100 sec.
