I am so tired of people in my area complaining about the graffiti. The Marrickville area has some awesome work which should be celebrated.
This stencil was created in early 2008 inspired by fashion photography and damp cold London. Recently cut stencil with one layer from an older stencil of a zebra in pink on her dress, with hand drawn cobbled stones. The canvas itself is 3 times in length this is just a mere snap shot of the original piece. This piece is 1 of 3, utilising the same same stencil and composition of works I’ve posted on Red Bubble at the moment. The other is ‘snow and umbrella’ and ‘rain birds’
psst psst… It’s subconsciously desensitizing you to vandalism… you just don’t know it yet / / / / / / / / / / / / / /

The main stencil image is one layer of the four layer stencil I created in early 2008 inspired by my interest in fashion photography. ‘Snow and Umbrella’ is 1 of 3, utilising the same same stencil and composition of works I’ve posted on Red Bubble at the moment. The other is ‘Rain Birds’ and ‘Umbrella and Rain’.
Seen the title on a wall.

I took this shot in downtown St. John’s. This would be #7 in the series, the bright pink colors in this one really grabbed my eye. / / More in this series: / Urban Artist / / / Sandman / / / The Scribe / / / Tagged / / / Writing’s on the wall / / / The Vandals / / / The View / / / Marley / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography

Burn it up baby.
This back alley was in quite a sad state… garbage and broken beer bottles were strewn about, all the windows on the ground level were smahed and boarded up. The walls were painted with graffiti that were illegible and faded with the passing of time. It was quite a fantastic spot! / / More in this series: / Urban Artist / / / Sandman / / / The Scribe / / / Tagged / / / Writing’s on the wall / / / The View / / / Bubblegum Graffiti / / / Marley / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography

Ecology print to make people aware of all the stuff that’s released into the atmosphere when they spray around the home… / If anyone wants to buy this as a print and doesn’t like the background, I can change it.
It’s amazing where you can find this stuff… it’s written on anything and everything. Hope your enjoying the series. / / More in this series: / Urban Artist / / / Sandman / / / The Scribe / / / Tagged / / / Writing’s on the wall / / / The Vandals / / / The View / / / Bubblegum Graffiti / / / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography
Aerosol on wall, 2007 / Stencil Artwork / Finlay Alley off Lt Lonsdale St, Melbourne CBD
This zebra stencil was a follow-up to my much loved giraffe (yet to be on red bubble). I find working with a plain white background a challenge which I enjoy and appreciate the end result.
This is a slightly cropped image of one of the two test sprays of a stencil I cut a few months ago. The other one is blue in colour. I’ve now framed the two. I just loved the image when I saw it!
I really like the way this old fire escpape hung down into this alley. / / / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography
