Mixed Media Bottom Layer is primary colors of ink pads – yellow first to create the flesh tone, jeans and grasses. On top of this a layer of gold outline and finally 3 layers of pastels.. Mounted on black paper.

County Jail experience. Any inmate, it was shared with me by staff, who is a first-timer will probably be able to sleep about 2 hours a night tops for the first 90 days !! / I swear i never slept. sharing and caring is how things get changed…

My Fight For My Child

I wrote this poem when I felt beaten down by the school system and almost gave up on my fight for my special education child with traumatic brain in jury and Autism. While I was writing and sobbing, I heard my child singing “Jesus Loves Me’..I continued my fight and won my case for my son.
