  • Original Image – The Tea Factory, Liverpool First in a possible series of a recurring character and his adventures in Liverpool. Photo manipulation where the light from the torch is seen casting a shadow. Really pleased with the result and shall continue to find suitable locations for edit.

  • Sunrise at about 3 am, 65 degrees south., Gerlache Strait. Most people were tucked up in their beds, but for the restless, the freezing decks were the place to roam..Barely a moment’s darkening of the night before this happened.. then I felt I could go and sleep a little..

  • FOUR HUNDRED VIEWS ~ THANK YOU / FEATURED ON REDBUBBLE HOME PAGE From the Third Man to the Ragman / The Third Man film celebrates it’s 60th anniversary this year (1949 ~ 2009) Orson Welles in post-war Vienna Carol Reed director of The Third Man, I will always associate as the male director with a female name directing the leading character Holly Martins another strong impressive male with a female name. However what legacy is left with me is his dramatic lighting and film sets, which gave introduce the monochrome’s twin towers ~ light and shade, and shape and form in combination and fusion for intensity and impact, something which is not lost on my own work. • Today I ventured again into the blue forest in the early-morning mist, so full of unforseeable dangers and adventures. It proved to be another lucky day – all monsters had taken a day off!, and so I came home with a load of worthwhile pictures, happy that I had managed again to get up and out so early. To say the truth, I had to give myself a good push first, but when I looked out of the window and saw the mist, the blue world outside lured me irresistably to get on my bike again. • Taken just near Grossard Point at Ventnor, Phillip Island, Australia. My extended family use to have a house just minutes from here and we used to always walk along this part of the rocks. I always loved the red rocks in this area and wasn’t at all disappointed when I came back to get a couple of photos of them. • A famous bamboo grove just outside of Kyoto. Its a magical place where you feel like you are stepping into some mythical dell. Normal light loses its traditional meaning here and the interplay between the bamboo and light is delightful. You can really lose yourself in the scene…

  • A rusty ole collection plate submerged in the calm waters of a buddhist shrine. Stray Yen have found thier way in there carrying small and large dreams. Mother naure casts a protective and watchful aura over the entire scene, almost as if she is ferrying those dreams to another place where thier case for fulfillment will be heard.
