I originally intended this shot to be a picture of my son holding onto these balloons and taking off, floating into up into the sky … a fantasy, sotybook sort of image. However, my daughter immediately grabbed these balloons from him and started running off. So, as it turned out this eded up having a more realistic look than the one I originally intended, but I thought it turned out pretty cute with the desaturated colors throughout, except for the colorful balloons. Sold 2 laminated prints to RB Members.

The back layer was a pencil sketch i did and it also had the two figures on it, but i played with it and put the other out line drawing on top / xXxOoO I also have this image with out the border…so its up to you which one you prefer :o) This is this one on a card…. / And this is the borderless one…. /

A party that celebrates all that life has to offer,both the good and not so good :D She’s wearing her new flower feather clips and a ribbon belt to adorn her waist. All who read this will be invited! A belief that Life is to be celebrated, not just the ups but the downs too. It is easier to give thanks and rejoice when things go well for us but can we still do the same when things dont turn out the way we want them to? In dry or in bountiful times, I keep reminding myself to count my blessings…to adopt the mindset of abundance and not of scacity. Sales of this Design? – 1 sale so far :) / / ’’Asian Series’ card by Karin Taylor This is one of my favourite pieces in the oriental series. / Two little friends falling asleep in their little boats whilst fishing for their supper. / I really enjoyed mixing the colours for this painting, I used colour swatches from paint charts to decide on the colour scheme, and just went to work intuitively mixing til I got the right colours…they are grungier than my other pics and I love the effect…hope you like them too :D

Acrylic On Canvas For those who may not be that familiar with Phoebe, she’s a patchwork bunny doll and the baby of the trio. She enjoys putting on all kinds of quirky caps and hats, she is never seen without them! Hello everyone, meet Kenny! Kenny’s a young baby tortoise.. He’s quiet and shy but very loving.. he loves to nudge Julian with his little head.. and with his super cute baby eyes, Julian can’t help but adopt lil Kenny as his godson.. (bet he didn’t know that lil Kenny will outgrow him in size one day.. kekeke…) Yep, Kenny’s currently living at the same beach Tim and Julian posed for Summer Fun.. XD / this is my first time coloring with a wacom.. pretty fun..
