Another version of previous tee. I used photoshop to add white to the cup as well as some highlights. This version works on color backgrounds :) Simple, black and white version / Used a tee-shirt template from Threadless to add the image to a model tee…I hope that’s how it turns out :) /

So we went to a party last night, got a little merry and filled the taxi home with balloons. Matron allowed us to keep them, on the condition that we didn’t let them anywhere near the kitties. Sadly, George has a helium addiction and is under vet’s orders not to inhale any, lest he starts reciting Shakespeare again. I’m not so sure there’s anything to worry about given that’s just the effect you get with the pink furry pills – and they’re perfectly safe. So anyway, I wanted to see what would happen if George ate a helium balloon. It has this effect, evidently…

It’s so dark inside the wolf / Brothers Grimm When I moved home from Europe and unpacked my boxes, I found my red coat again Her red coat, really. I was nineteen the last time I’d worn it so I didn’t scowl at the loose button, or how it stretched across the bust. She was always much skinnier than me, after all, especially once the wolf came knocking. She’d told me she’d come back for it. It’s just that she didn’t have the money for him, and he was knocking soon, and she really, really needed him tonight. And I could take the coat as payment, if only I’d answer the knock for the both of us. She’d come back for it; of course she would. I keep the collar turned up when I wear it now, at 36. Sometimes, I don’t even feel the cold. But other times, I feel it in my bones.

Song for Your Heart is a line taken from the song “Carry You Home” by James Blunt album”All The Lost Souls” I just fall to pieces when I hear it..let’s just say it moves me / ...there are many different interpretations of the lyrics. / Carry You Home is the type of song people have personal associations with…whether it’s war, addiction, devotion a higher love or loss…it’s a sign of a great lyric when they reach out and touch you personally. Trouble is her only friend and he’s back again / Makes her body older than it really is / And she says it’s high time she went away / No one’s got much to say in this town / Trouble is the only way is down. / Down, down As strong as you were, tender you go / I’m watching you breathing for the last time / A song for your heart, but when it is quiet / I know what it means and I’ll carry you home, / I’ll carry you home. If she had wings she would fly away / And another day God will give her some / Trouble is the only way is down. / Down, down. As strong as you were, tender you go / I’m watching you breathing, for the last time / A song for your heart, but when it is quiet. / I know what it means and I’ll carry you home. / I’ll carry you home…... click to hear this extraordinary song Image copyright © 2008 Shanina Conway. / Copying and displaying or redistribution of this image without permission from the artist is strictly prohibited

Eventually, the need to "escape reality" morphs into self negation. The addict begins to chip away at all that is human and noble about themselves and becomes an animal basically. Controlled only by their immediate cravings and impulses, the addict becomes oblivious to other’s feelings and focuses only on their own "high". . It is because of this that 12 Step programs claim that addiction is rooted in selfishness; I say bullshit – it is rooted in self HATRED….and the addict is the truest definition of a suicide in progress…

“The only benefit to America in maintaining prohibition [on drugs] is the psychic comfort we derive from having a permanent scapegoat. But why did we have to pick an enemy the warring against which is so self-destructive? We would be better off blaming our ills on celestial invaders flying about in saucers.” William F.
