Our society’s addiction to oil and oil based products is threatening the human race. Corporate greed is compromising human rights and the environment through pollution and global warming. Things must change before it’s too late. This t-shirt is designed to quickly communicate the relationship between oil consumption and human suffering. The image of a hand gun and the use of the colour red represents blood and human suffering (so I would recommend a red t-shirt, but it still works on other colours). The fuel pump nozzle and use of black represents oil and petrol consumption. The link between the two items is the ‘trigger’, each of which is designed to be levered by the human finger. The ‘Oil Kills’ global message defies language barriers; selling to buyers in USA, UK, Canada, Europe and Australia.

I’m a bit paranoid about doing any kind of iconic based images at the moment, due to finding other people may have done similar stuff. The last one being the grenade with a brain that i did…someone pointed out it already existed. And when i searched it up further on google…there were several(4? that i found easily) of them from stencils to one even closer to the one i designed…pin and stuff on the same side…it was done as a belt buckle so…anyway, away it went! But here goes…i did try and run it by those who might know but…not online at the moment. I did google a whole bunch of things to check if anything similar was about…but came up with nothing so i’m putting it up. Wish me luck. / . / ps- i did find a sculpture of a gun with a knot in it, flowers in the barrel…but no handshakes. / . / . /

I was initially going to use a roadmap from a part of Israel…but then I figured it would better to use Texas! Just not sure why? hmm…hehe Road map for peace The “road map” for peace is a plan to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict proposed by a “quartet” of international entities: the United States, the European Union, Russia, and the United Nations. The Missing Remaining White Rhinos / The White Rhino is believed to be on the brink of extinction. In April 2003 there were 30 rhinos. In 2006 there were only 4 confirmed animals but worryingly, recent fieldwork in 2008 has so far failed to find any presence of these four remaining White Rhinos. Could it be they are disguising themselves as common Zebra to avoid poachers? On the face of it a humorous image but in reality, another depressing effect man has had on the natural world.
