This is painted in acrylic on stretched canvas. I love to paint vegetables and fruit in glass and silver. I like the transparency of the crystal with the distorted green capsicum showing through. This is a framed 14”x 12” acrylic painting on watercolour cold pressed paper of Long Island at the Whitsundays in Queensland, Australia. My first acrylic painting. Painted to keep the memory alive of a holiday my husband and I took there earlier this year. The sea was calm and sparkling with the sun’s reflection, and the day was warm and peaceful. If I made a seachange from the country this is where it would be to. This is nature at its best! This beach is located in a small, sleepy and rather isolated beach town on the mid north coastline of NSW, Australia. Have very happy memories here of when we used to take our children camping and we visited this beach many times. Happy times come and go / Memories remain this I know / like snapshots locked inside our mind / each one remembered is one of a kind!

Why do you as the viewer suppose this is true? Personally, I think it is.
