Mother Earth is a beautiful Queen endowed with many treasures. The skies are her satins. The sun is her gold. The moon is her silver. The clouds are her pearls. The air is her crystal. The seas are her diamonds. The birds are her minstrels. The butterflies and the bees are her ladies-in-waiting. The flowers and leaves are her brocades. The earthworms are her attendants. We are the lords and the ladies of her court. If we do not respect Queen Earth, she will fall ill, and her treasures will tarnish or be lost forever. If we respect Queen Earth, she shares her treasures for all to glory in. Original Art by Angela F. Acrylic on Canvas. 1869 views. I just love painting elephants, and trying to come up with different colour combinations, it’s amazing the colours that one can make, with just four or five tubes of colour This one is painted in Acrylics on canvas and measures 1200×600 mm Although the main elephant occupies nearly half of the canvas, I wanted the direction of the clouds, the earth, and the light, to guide the eye to the smaller elephants, thus giving them just as much importance to the painting.

Original acrylic painting on canvas 24” x 30” / I have always loved photography, but it was a means to an end. I wanted ideas for painting. This painting really came from a deep instinct. It was the first time that I just let it happen as I went along. The color seemed to take shape in the back ground and soon I notice that it looked like spirits. Were they guiding me? I think they were. This is an / /
30”x 40” acrylic on Number 80 Bainbridge Board cold-pressed. I used gesso to cover the beginnings of something I had started a long time ago. I have been working on this off and on for the past couple of weeks…...... between giving time to two grandsons, ten cats, and a dog. First large painting, and first flowers I have done in a while. My inspiration has been all the wonderful florals I have seen on RedBubble! There are so many beautiful paintings and drawings on this site….....all are an inspiration for me to paint and draw again.

This is an acrylic canvas painting 20” wide x 23” long of Australian Pelicans. Pelicans are beautiful large Black and White water birds. They have very long beaks that have a small hook on the end and a stretching pouch underneath. There are 7 species of Pelicans in the world. Pelicans fly just above the water’s surface in long lines and never dive. Growing up as a child I can remember my Grandfather singing to us…. “Oh a wonderous bird is the Pelican his beak holds more than his belican!” This was painted as a birthday present for a friend of mine who is turning 50 this weekend and her favourite bird is a Pelican. An acrylic painting on canvas 60cm x 30cm of the sun setting over the shadowed land. Night is approaching and the sun paints the sky with its sizzling rays in protest of its retreat. A 40cm x 40cm acrylic painting on canvas of maple leaves. It was raining here one day so I grabbed my camera and went and took some photos of the glistening Japanese Maple leaves in our garden. I decided to paint them on a canvas painted black to show off their colours and add contrast and was very pleased with the outcome. Maple Leaves See the leaves on the maple tree / The rain has gone, they blow wild and free… / Sparkling raindrops settle and gleam / A delightful show that must be seen!
