Presently painting the 12 signs of zodiac is my absolutely HIT in order to be creative and also to create a calendar with this theme for 2009. / And Taurus is my newest painting and part five of this series and it’s my sign . Sometimes all you can do is bravely seek the comfort of others! I have been working on this piece for the last few days and added the finishing touches this morning after I logged on to the Bubble and read dearest Fa’s AKA frozenfa recent journal entry. Shiro

It took me a while to paint her for our wall, but I finally got around to do it. When she was just about 2 months old, we adopted her entire family, including her siblings, mother, and grandmother. They were such beautiful and wonderful companions. Now they have all passed away, but left so many lovely memories in our hearts.

About 8 years ago, she started to show up in our backyard and spent all day sleeping in one of my flower pots. Every time we brought food to her, she hissed and tried to bite. One day, we brought her indoor and she immediately turned into a very friendly cat. She had never hissed at us after that. We concluded that what Hana really wanted was a home. Although she never liked other cats much, she loved human contact. We don’t know her age. Her vet thinks she was an old cat when she passed.
