“Every memorable act in the history of the world is a triumph of enthusiasm. Nothing great was ever achieved without it because it gives any challenge or any occupation, no matter how frightening or difficult, a new meaning. Without enthusiasm you are doomed to a life of mediocrity but with it you can accomplish miracles.” - Og Mandino

Here’s my little bluebird boyfriend again. He’s quite a ham. Loves to pose and loves to peek into my shooter’s blind to check on me. (Don’t worry, everyone. I don’t shoot with a gun, only with a camera!) When he comes to the nesting box with goodies for the kids, he perches a while before feeding them and kind of shows off the stuff like he’s proud of his catch. Here he is with a big grasshopper. I thought it would be a nice image for a card to congratulate someone on a job well done.

I shall now make an effort not to upload for a while, but to, instead, take some time and really work long and hard on a project. You know: really put in painstaking detail, step by step; agonize, because agonizing can be good for the soul; stretch my brain and body and spirit in a bid towards reaching that goal of a finished masterpiece. It probably won’t turn out any better than the rest usually does, but, hey: I’ll have taken a lot more time to do it. Gotta take your triumphs where you can find them!
