  • in the days before photoshop, someone had to bump into you to get this effect. taken in a Morocco market, 1984.

  • NO PHOTOSHOP! I could also have titled this “Happy Accident 2”. This is a traditional double exposure that happened by accident. Elvis was shot on a large screen, projection [ancient] TV. I had to take the color film out mid-roll to do a B/W assignment. I put the color back in + shot the steel support work in a window @ the Chicago Civic Ctr. [now the Cultural Ctr.]. Apparently, I was one frame off when I advanced the film again + got this perfect super imposed image.

  • Sorry Mate I Didn’t See You Or as a rough translation either: I wasn’t paying attention properly, or, I saw you but didn’t care…

  • I wanted a image, that I think of alot about. This Poem was written by Vanesse Cathleen who is here on redbubble, i thought it suited this image. The Party Is Over You have been traveling down a one way street. / That will only take you to your personal defeat. It all starts out having fun with your friends / but it doesn’t take long until the parting ends. Your life gets hard, your funds get low, / depression begins to creep in slow. You have warn yourself out, your body is tired. / Your brain is warped yet, you keep getting wired. Your party has lasted a little too long. / No one will listen to your sad twisted song. Now you are traveling a little to fast / and it’s about time to make this all part / of your past. You are near the end / What will you do? Drive on… Drive off… / It’s Up To You!!! • Mrs. Flibble said I should shred some confidential stuff, lest it fall into the wrong hands. That would be… er… problematic and embarrassing – and not just for the llamas. Now normally I’m good at shredding, but today I forgot to heed the warning of "shred with a tie and you’re dead". It was going great, but just as I reached for the latest stack of llama sex orgy paperwork, my tie flopped into the diamond cut steel grinding gears of the shredder of death. This is moments before my grizzly end. Splendid. Oooh… I just started a blog: www.idrinkleadpaint.com Strobist stuff: I had a flash, camera left through an umbrella, deliberately set quite high to give the shot a bit more drama. Wide angle lens was in really close for extra distortion. Wanted a Flibble in the headlights sort of death. Ties were hurt in the making of this photograph.

  • So, I’ve just dropped the GF off at work and as I’m heading home I find this disused garage. The doors are broken and I take a look inside the old workshop. Hmmm nothing here but an old busted up arcade game with its chair… so I grab my trusty camera and my monopod and set the chair up in the middle of the workshop. Now apart from the hole in the roof and the light from the door its dark in here, so I set the timer on the camera to 20 secs so as to avoid any camera shake. I took a few pics and then thought I’d have a smoke and a think about what else I could do with this place. So I switched the camera off (or so I thought, I’d actually pressed the shutter button instead) and sat down to think about the hole in the roof and the light coming through it… Click went the camera. So here’s the result… Me trespassing and smoking a cigarette in somebody’s workplace. Either way you look at it I’m now a criminal an I’m just waiting for the knock at the door!

  • YOUTUBE One week Gaza…....... next week Victorian Bushfires This image was created with the bushfires in mind BUT I have found myself looking and returning to look at this image over and over and feel this overwhelming sadness. As I read about the sad death of NATASHA RICHARDSON I now understand why this image disturbed me so greatly….......................................................................................................................................................... I wrote my story on the day I read about NATASHA RICHARDSON. The day of the ACCIDENT is the day I walked down a different path…....(I think I only left the story on the net for some hours but the casting into space was cathartic)

  • Digital Collage From the first winter that I had my drivers license I have always been warned by my mother and other loved ones to “watch out for black ice”. This illustrates, maybe not the worst case scenario, but at least one, two, or three reasons why you should tell the ones you love about the dangers of “Black Ice”. /

  • A shot of a big ice stick after a time in the freezer, place under cold water …it cracked up!!! I wanted to keep it for more shots, you can imagine what happened after I poured out water on it to get rid of the frost…so I tried different angles and put it over different things in the house with that result.Half white and half red…I created the heart with photoshop but the rest of the pic is untouched…just for fun…I’ve made a duo out of it called…”Pearl” / / / /
