The jaguar is a near threatened species and its numbers are declining. Threats include habitat loss and fragmentation. While international trade in jaguars or their parts is prohibited, the cat is still regularly killed by humans, particularly in conflicts with ranchers and farmers in South America. I created these 2 pieces (slightly different from one another Transcension By Devine Light ) then a title came to mind (btw~it always happens this way for me) the word TRANSCENSION, it fit it perfectly then i pulled it up on google and found this article: Answering the Fermi Paradox: Exploring the Mechanisms of Universal Transcension, © 2002-2007 by John Smart / http://www.accelerating.org/articles/answeringfermiparadox.html / This was the section that stood out to me: / In transcension, once intelligence saturates its local environment, it is constrained to leave local spacetime. In transcension, advanced intelligence inevitably moves out of our slow and computationally-restrictive spacetime, multi-locally, once it reaches a certain point in its development. My dear mother has always said “Those who play with fire are likely to get burned”. This artwork represents those that are now playing with fire thousands of times hotter than the core of the sun right here on Earth… and we may ALL get burned this time! / / This artwork was inspired by recent news about the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in Geneva, Switzerland, on the same day as the first initial test of the huge particle accelerator / collider. Apparently, some hackers from Greece successfully penetrated the computer systems at CERN from over the internet. The hackers made there way so deep within the CERN computer network that the were only one step away from being able to shut down the 12,000 ton superconducting magnet that contains the proton particle collisions within the ALICE complex at CERN. You can read the news article about these hackers at the link shown below. / / Hackers attack Large Hadron Collider / http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/main.jhtml?xml=/earth/2008/09/12/scicern212.xml / / If this scenario were to happen while one of the collision experiments was taking place, it would mean a complete failure in containing both the particle beam and the protons riding that beam at almost the speed of light’. In other words, invoking a catastrophic failure within the LHC that could result in anything from removing Geneva from the world map, to creating a black hole that could not be contained within the magnetic fields generated by the LHC superconducting magnet in ALICE. / / CERN is planning their first particle collision experiments around the end of October 2008. This time table may end up being pushed up, as other scientists are continuing to file suits for a ‘cease and desist’ order to have the LHC deactivated until more research can be done to more adequately prove out the theory the CERN scientists are counting on (Hawking’s Radiation) to keep the world safe. / / I recently wrote an article with another accompanying artwork about the LHC, which described the multitude of dangers associated with the collider that were not being reported to the public by the scientists that are involved with the project. I was pretty much ridiculed by the majority of people on the content of my article, and now only four days after the start up of the LHC the scientists at CERN are already proving out many of the points I argued in my article. I would love to say “who is laughing now?”, however, there is definitely nothing to laugh about regarding this serious issue. / / If you have not already read my article about the LHC, then PLEASE take the time to read it at the link shown below. The source image of the Earth used as protons came from a PD image from NASA. Compositing, painting, and other effects were all created in Photoshop. This artwork is difficult to appreciate on the web, as the original is 9600 pixels by 4800 pixels at 300 pixels per inch. This is in rememberance of the Hedron accelerator in the Alps / the one that does not work at this time and is being repaired at this time,I cant wait to see what 8 billion dollars can do,it will probably make some spectacular Art and music,it should do for that price.

Yellow-tailed black cockatoo. Beautiful birds & amazingly ungainly, but elegant, in flight. My wife & I call them “babies” as they have a mournful cry like a human baby. Some aboriginal people revere them as their cry is the cry of their own babies that have passed over. / This bird bit through the branch he was sitting on & almost landed on my head. He was working very hard to gain height after the fall.

In Switzerland they’ve built this thing / It has no gears and has no springs / And when you wind it up it flings / Protons together in it’s rings / / Accelerated near light speed / Protons collide to fulfill deed / What scientists have all agreed / Will be new science, new indeed The task of all these scientists / To find what may or not exist / Yet prove their theories, they’ll persist / Stand strong against those who’d resist / / These protons held by coppers wind / And hopefully keep them confined / When slammed together hope to find / God’s particle to change mankind / / But if they’re wrong about their goal / Accomplishment that they extol / Instead of God, they find black hole / Then kiss your ass and bless your soul / / This fractal artwork was inspired while watching a documentary about the history of particle accelerators on PBS. I have also been keeping abreast on the ongoing developments at CERN in Switzerland, where they are about to start up the world’s largest particle accelerator next June. This accelerator is called the ‘Large Hadron Collider’, or just LHC for short, and has taken 20 years and 8 billion dollars to construct. The collider is contained in a circular tunnel with a circumference of 27 kilometres (17 mi) at a depth ranging from 50 to 175 meters underground, so large that it crosses the Swiss and French border twice. This is the most complex device ever designed and built by humankind. The scientists at CERN will be attempting to find the hypothetical ‘Higgs-Boson’ particle, also nicknamed the ‘God’ particle. The Higgs-Boson particle is theorized to be the force that holds all matter together. They are going to try and do this by slamming two protons into one another, each traveling at almost the speed of light. I sure hope those guys know what they are doing out there in Switzerland, as their are other scientists against the experiment saying it could possibly create a black hole right here on Earth!! / Sounds like a zero error sport to me! / / This was created in ChaosPro.
