  • This is an abstract look at the feathers of a special type of pigeon and the water droplets that landed on it when it stood near a waterfall feature. These are its actual colors…only the contrast/levels have been adjusted slightly.

  • This was the second choice for the Damselfly Challenge. I blew it up to 300% and it looked like a distant planet.. I think this is just for fun.. But if you notice this fellow had not shaved.. I captured this on a live flying subject. Once they find out your not going to eat them they settle down just a tad if you move slow.. So I will share this and some who love colors.. LOL..   • Blossom’s_Photo_Gallery Pierre “Pierre” the surname is of French origin and comes from the first name “Pierre” or “Peter”. The name “Pierre” is from old French meaning “stone” or “rock”, which in the Latin form is “petra”. The name was used for people who lived on stony soil or next to formations or gatherings of rocks. It was also used for people who had jobs such as working in a quarry or as a stonemason.

  • Taken in ‘Roman woods’, Cambridge. NOT ‘as is’

  • This photo was taken in Eastern Oregon. There were just a few of them around in one area near The Painted Hills. I was drawn to them by their simplicity and delicate pattern. I’m always in awe of Mother Nature’s beauty.
