Another image in the Abstract Nature series – images created totally in camera with minimal-to-no post processing. This image captures the setting sulight dancing off spirit trees in the Jarrah forest in Western Australia. The challenge for me with this series is to create a visually pleasing abstract image without resorting to using effects in my graphics program. When I do make adjustments to my abstract photography, I limit myself to only minor adjustments in contrast and maybe a smidge of brightness. If the image needs anything more than minor tweakings, it goes into the discard pile!
