  • TWO GIRL s

  • - Copyright by Mohsen Bayramnejad. has been nominated for the prestigious Pay it Forward Group by one of my favourite photographers, Kevin Skinner / a real honor for me and my simple Image, here is what he said: “The reason for this is a number of reasons. I love B&W imagery and my main passion lies with Intimate Landscape shots. Although this isn’t a Landscape (obviously), it holds the very qualities that I look for in a B&W: contrasts, textures and, most of all, detail. This image stands out from the rest as there is an absolute detail and an ineffable quality that makesit a stunning piece of work. / Also the photographer is a excellent artist and his portfolio is a must to drop by and look at as his people photgraphy is first class. / One of my favourite photographers and one of the reasons why I so glad I joined RB to experience such great work.” Thank You So Much, Kevin! Update: / - featured in the Live, Love, Dream Group. / - Wins the Group Avatar challenge of Pay It Forward group.

  • This image was shot using 35 mm colour transparency film then chemically cross processed (e6 to c41), doing this can give you lovely green hues. The original analogue photograph was then scanned and only the cubed effect was achieved using photoshop. Some cubes were also slightly desaturated with photoshop too.

  • In my most recent series: ‘Face Navigation’ , I have used the fluidity of watercolour painting to express a personal perception of self and others. There is an awareness of the universal human condition through facial expression, and in some cases I create a progression of images, exploring the changing perception of a person by deconstructing facial recognition. As there is a shift over time in attitude or mood, there is a corresponding shift in visual interpretation. Sizes variable, average sizes 250×102 mm. Watercolour on rag paper. / / Web: www.littlemalopgallery.com.au For availability of original work please contact Robert Avitabile at: METROPOLIS GALLERY / 64 Ryrie Street / Geelong, Victoria, AUSTRALIA 3220 Telephone: +61 3 5221 6505 www.metropolisgallery.com.au

  • Digital Painting The look of a thousand years / can be seen in the depths of her / deep dark eyes / War, famine, hate, love / Too many years, too many died / Her mind wanders back beyond / the hills of time / Wildness calling to her core / there deep inside / Words of hurt, of hate / always words of pride / Peaceful meandering / in dreams sublime / Converge with dreams of / a slave in another world / another time / Always caught between / the new world and the old / Festering anew, a canker / that will not heal / Shadows of the pain, the / fear and the degradation / Deep scars she will / forever feel / Yet tall she stands / head held high / She will not bow / not then not now / She has a debt to honor / those that never had a voice / Those that could not tell / The years of their existence / In a world akin to hell / She walks with the ghosts of many / Wearing her pride like a warrior’s shield / Subtlely stating without voicing / Don’t judge me by the color of my skin / Our blood bleeds the same deep red / Our hearts beat the same within / Same wants, same needs / Same thoughts of wrong and right / Good enough to die in battle / No question then of black or white / So she walks on, tall and proud / Her skin glistening with it’s ebony hue / Her voice ringing out loud and clear / I’m proud of the skin I’m in / Underneath I’m just like you Written by Rhenastarr

  • Oil on stretched canvas 900×1300 mm Top 10 in a Challenge in the Group SA Rainbow Nation Dedicated to Roney, who lived with his little brother on the streets in São Paulo and was tragically murdered in 2008 at the age of 12. Their lives have been pretty much guided by fate and fortune, like most other kids on the streets of the big cities in the world. An unstable childhood due to their mother’s alcoholism, has led them to end up on the streets full-time. It is unacceptable that 21st century children are still at risk on the streets. Carf Brazil, was established by Gregory J. Smith in São Paulo in 1993, to benefit the street children of Brazil by defending their rights and offering them a dignified solution so that they could live and grow within a family-oriented context and healthy social environment. As Grerory quotes, Albert Einstein said: _The world is a dangerous place. Not because of the people who are evil; but because of the people who don’t do anything about it. Sales from this painting will be donated to CARF who assists in the rehabilitation of street children in Diadema, São Paulo, Brazil. Read this poem Golden Boy written by Rhenastarr, who was inspired by this painting.
