...last night. I ended up covering the canvas with back (mixed with sap green) and blues. It was a colorful piece, now it’s inky black with a bit of blue. I wonder what’s going on? As I look at the canvas this morning I wonder about the departure from bright reds and purples with a white wash here and there.. Where is it taking me? I do feel like I’m being driven by the work, not the other way around. I have high hopes for this canvas. Like one would for a child. It’s a strange feeling. I want it to grow and prosper, and be sent out into the world to find its way (again, not unlike the feelings I have for my children). What if it’s “dark”? What if it’s foreboding and grim? Will I still be able to release it , and trust that it is what it’s supposed to be? Will I be able to keep myself from forcing it to be something that it’s not meant to be, and just rest in the fact that “it is what it is”? So, maybe, this morning this little unfinished painting is making me look into my struggles with being an acceptable producer in the “machine” vs. a spirit that is led by the inner authenticity and transparencey of the “really real” (where my soul is at, at this moment, in this piece of work). What are my true motivations? What needs to be exposed? Perhaps I”m waxing on this morning, and taking myself a bit too seriously. Well…I guess I have to learn to be okay with that to.

It has been a while since I have put any updated art and photo’s on this site. I tried a little advertising out of pocket and a few free site promo’s. Run into a few of lifes issues, that must be delt with. So I have not had much time to do newer works, let alone upload more of the ones I have sitting arround. Im hoping by October to get some more time to add more works. I have seen some of the updates to most my friends sites on here, but its been hit an miss on the computer so no real time to comment on everyones works. Like to let you all know en’mass, you are doing well and keep up the good work. Peace

for some of you, you may notice I removed my first 2 journal entries that I added earlier in the year… for many though it probably these would’ve slipped under the radar… / i will state that i’d been going through an extremely rough patch in my life, which got the better of me for at least the first 7 months of this year… fortunately i got away from my environment disappearing to where I feel my passed life belonged… i managed to get away to Japan for 2.5months… I also managed to relieve the stresses that were making me believe i had something more major wrong with me… it’s a scary thing & i feel for all… my work to date often slips by unnoticed, with now & then something like that of / & images like this: / & this: beyond these works, perhaps the more common simpler shapes there are a lot of works which have are not necessarily supposed to catch your understanding immediately… these instead are filled with intrigue & often come with a story… something often related to happenings within my life, my views & have relevance to the image… yes, these are a little abstract, but there is a meaning… I’d hope that more of you will be able to see this & I understand that within this RedBubble life there are people who continue to slip under the radar… Recently I’ve had a few new people call passed & visit my works… it’s great… I’m also very happy for those who continually support me… / i also often wrestle with the coming to terms of why people perhaps choose to leave a nice message, but do not choose to favourite the image… i also realise we are busy people & we often don’t have time to communicate more… / in anyway, if you as a viewer of my work come across an image of mine & want to make a critiquing comment, but for fear of offending me, then I’d appreciate to hear your thoughts on something (as long as these are not abusive) even through the means of a BubbleMail… I’d love to be able to interact with some of you more… There is a lot of talent within here & we have access to the world… i have some great dreams & i know they will come true… but it’s very difficult to progress forward as quickly as i’d like as one… i’d hope that you can view through my works… there are many of them, which belong in series, however, I’ve only usually added the one edition… anyway, it’s now time for your thoughts, if you wish to share…
