In the future we won’t need real trees. / Artificial trees will bring us all the excitment that nature provided. / And, they won’t shed pesky leaves. / Just be careful around all the pointy bits. / And don’t climb them. / Or try and carve your initials in them. / The voltage can kinda sting.

An abstract piece using letter forms from a font i’ve just finished designing. The font uses straight and angled semi translucent lines that are drawn from a 12 point dot grid. If you can’t make out the letters, i used “A R T” in there, which just happen to be my initials ;). Enjoy. Ps. Thanks for the feature! Also see: / Full font set / Font used on a tee

abstract – information provided by wikipedia:

Abstract art is now generally understood to mean art that does not depict objects in the natural world, but instead uses colour and form in a non-representational way. In the very early 20th century, the term was more often used to describe art, such as Cubist and Futurist art, that depicts real forms in a simplified or rather reduced way—keeping only an allusion of the original natural subject. Such paintings were often claimed to capture something of the depicted objects' immutable intrinsic qualities rather than its external appearance.
