An abstract fractal artwork with depth and artistic dreamy shapes and effects.
This work is the result of a collaboration between Ted Widen and me, Thea Walstra. We used Apophysis, cut outs of photographs and the tools and filters of a graphic program. We think that the end result is beautiful magical work.
This started out as one small dot and ended up as a Water Park, lots of cool water pouring out of the many fountains.. Made in Apophysis.. ”...A better lover of the World I want to be…” to all the lovers of The World, in the world… Lover of the World / (Michael Tomlinson; great sound and vid) Oh the wind does blow out of Denver / You breathe that smoke and dream of Aspen air / Where the prairie soil turns into buildings / Straight and tall they make ‘em like mountains there / Oh you won’t get burned if you keep on walking / If you don’t mind dirt there’s many roads to go / In the midnight moon I thought I saw an angel / Settling down around me like falling snow / Chorus: / Even now nobody knows / Where this world all began will it stop or will it spin / We all sing the seers song / We pretend we do what’s right then ignore the maker’s light / A better lover of the world I want to be / Oh when I hit the street / I’m gonna take my freedom / I’m gonna fill it up with laughter and with life / Oh I’ll pour that cup till it’s flowing over / Then I’ll find a playful woman to be my wife / Chorus / Better lovers of the world we’re going to be / I’m gonna head out over yonder / Where tomorrow calls my name / Where the day to day is never quite the same / Oh I’ll give up all my old routines, I’ve worked them all to death / Oh and I think it’s time to take another breath / Take it now, take it now / Another breath / Take it now, take it now / Oh it is not war and it’s not killing / That keeps up down, we’ve all been here before / When we come back we’ll all be more willing / To open up the blossom and be much more / Chorus / A better lover of the world I want to be / Better lovers of the world we’re going to be… / ................................................ / ”...I thought I saw an angel, / settling down around me, like falling snow”... / ............................................... With the backdrop of the two moons of LaRaa, the Mother and her wayward child the strange oval satellite Geenas, we gaze on the “Sleeping Giant”. Located in the foothills of the Dark Mountains, legends say that a strange warlike being that walks upright on two legs will visit our world. When this occurs the giant will awake to do battle with these beings. But for now he lies sleeping in the foreground of the image, with his serpentine hair spread out above him. His name is Gorgonass, and he will rise…..........if you believe!
Situated on the landmass called Schriss, in the southern hemisphire of Galrond VI, this lake is composed of the purest liquid in the Andromeda Galaxy. / Every 25 years a team goes beyond the force field which surrounds it, they then take 10 samples of this pure essence. It is then taken to a secert labratory and added to non-disclosed ingredients, bottled and sold at a astronomical price on the open market. Two drops can cure any disease known, some rumours and myths say that one bottle can give immortality to the drinker. This is a very rare photo I got when I was part of a team, normally you go in wearing a tight fitting suit and nothing else. / But luckily I obtained one of the new state-of-the-art cameras developed from Borg technology. As everyone knows the basic components of the vertebrate eye are a transparent cornea, an adjustable iris, a lens for focusing, a sensitive retina lining the back of the eye, and a clear fluid- or jelly-filled center. This camera replaces the natural vertebrate, it sends its images to the biggest hard drive known, ...the human brain. / It is a complicated operation, but well worth the results, and of course highly illegal.
I think we all feel small and insignificant sometimes… Someone told me that if you look closely at the droplet you can see a man and a woman inside, you need to look at the picture in large view, and use a lot of imagination lol!! ;-) But I think I can see them! There are many strange things and occurences in the great void of space. / There lies on the far rim of Andromeda a great machine/entity the size of a nebula, known as the “Wheel of Time”, once a vessel as entered the iris/hub it is transported to a far place in time. / No being knows who built it or how it operates, there is no way to know if you are going back or forward in time. / Of the many adventurers who have entered only a few have returned to tell their stories. This journey is not for the faint hearted, so…..enter here who dare!! Featured in Sci Fi Group POTD at Digital Image Cafe
The sun rising in the desert after a cold night is like music, first the strings give their hint of the warmth to come, the first glow of dawn, then the brass and horns announce the coming of the sun, finally the kettle drums bring the great disc above the horizon. Then a new day is born, with all its color, warmth and splendor, the cold of night is a dim memory. Created with Artmatic and PS
This was created from the Mandelbrot set, as part of a challenge by fiery-fire on deviantART. Also another artist there N8ive Attitude asked that I recreate this from another piece I uploaded earlier. This is the result of the combination of those two requests, at once.
