You can bring Passion to its knees. / You can raise Hope to nothing. / You can kill one World with one word. / You can send a Soul to its next life / with one magic bullet: indifference. But then, I ask you: would you? On the other hand, / You can build a bridge / with your desires / and then paint it / with passion. OK, this one was taken as I walking up the stairs to get to work. Work is in a building with a central courtyard and a glass roof. It was a beautiful morning and the brickwork that was to be my prison for a few hours in the day, opened itself enough to reveal another a world outside…

As I made my ( transitional ) drive from my future back to my past today, I listened to the Alien sounds of the album Oxygene. / From the master himself, Jean Michel Jarre. It is a sound for Earthly ears, with a message from the cosmos, to me its about the search for a new home on another world by a race that as destroyed the one they were given. The search is long and time passes slowly, the new worlds must have the thing we as a species need “Oxygene” / So their search across space may go on for eternity, for they say ” you can never go home again”. / And even when you find that other world, it still is not “home”. So I suppose MY message is…........... ’ Think about what we as a race are doing to our home world, do we really want to have to travel the stars for all eternity, searching for something we already have?................think! I wanted to create an image of what their home world was like before its destruction. So I created this one and called it “Oxygene”

Another in my series World from Above. A view of fields not long after take off from Munich airport on a July morning heading for Prague. The Bavarian farmers are unknown artists. I travel a lot by air and different areas of Europe seem to have different field patterns. Mainly due to tradition or landscape. Small fields often indicate the tradition of dividing land each generation between the sons. I’m not an expert but this is fairly typical of the area near Munich airport. In the south of England for exampe I think there would be squarer fields with hedgerows or trees between… Czech Airlines flight from Munich to Prague.
