Well…I finally feel like I’ve completed one journey and have taken the first steps into the next one. It’s a lovely feeling – I have overcome difficulties, achieved everything I possibly could and now I have a fresh and clear mind to start again. / I guess this is a symbol of new beginnings for me…...seeing the visions and working towards them with a cleansed spirit and renewed hope…...xox

Words by Carl Gustav Jung This painting is dedicated to Gogonasus (meaning “snout from Gogo”) which was a lobe-finned fish known from 3-dimensionally preserved 380 million-year-old fossils found from the Gogo Formation in Western Australia. It lived in the late Devonian period, on what was once a 1400 kilometre Coral Reef off the Kimberley coast surrounding the North-West of Australia. Twinkling rays of setting sun / Come sifting through the trees / To dance upon the forest floor / And sparkle with the breeze Abstract photography of a northeast Georgia sunset sifting through the forest. These abstracts are formed through Camera Painting rather than editing in PS, etc. I get the effects with slight movements of the camera during a slow shutter speed. I dream in color, yes I do / My sleeping eyes enjoy the view / Subconscious mind sees every hue / Neons to pastels imbue / / Even during the darkest night / When eyes slumber after day’s sight / My dreams illuminate with light / And not just that of black and white / / I know that artists will agree / That black and white is density / Combines with colors that we see / To give us shades on color’s tree / / This fractal artwork was inspired by ongoing studies about whether we dream in color or black and white. The latest scientific study that I have read proved very interesting in it’s findings. Apparently whether we dream in color or black and white is due to cultural influences in the society that we live in. I have provided a link to the final paper on this study below, as it is quite fascinating in scope and I would encourage the curious to review it. The fractal gradient was created with ApoMap, a gradient editor commonly used with Apophysis. The fractal was created as a transparency so it could be layered over the background. The background gradient was created in Photoshop, and the post-processing of layers was also done in Photoshop. Because the original is so large and difficult to see over the internet, I have included a couple of detail cutaways below. / / / / / /

As we look at the scene before us, we see many lights in the sky. / And since man first walked upon this Earth, he as always wondered what they were, those lights in the night sky. / Has he became more aware through technological advances, he sort of understood what they could be. / And even to this day he still wonders, what hides in the great blue yonder. It draws us forever to explore the vast unseen, we know the substance of it, its there before our eyes. / But what do those lights in the sky really hide from our eyes. They hide the….... And it had to happen, here we have the planet Epsilon-Epsilon. The planet was purchased by one individual for the sole purpose of creating a work of art. The planet as thousands of cities and towns, all built as different architectual art forms, they are not populated, in fact there are no beings that live on the whole planet. / There is a reception center on the largest moon, the “tours” can take anywhere from 1 to 10 years to complete. The artist know as *Alienvisitor plans to purchase the entire solar system and all 13 of its planets, so one day the system itself will become the art form.
