I Love this work,I had so much fun creating this art work , we all have been a FOOL or know some one who is a FOOL in our life time. / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-— / Rhana Griffin / wrote a great Poem also called the FOOL , I love it and goes very well with this art work . / , Thank you Rhana , please do visit her site to see more of her work. / THE FOOL In the corner sits a fool, / her head, once held so high / now hangs between her knees / as hot tears of shame / fall silently to / drip onto her feet. In the corner sits a fool / her golden locks, / once tossed in confidence / now fall victim / to the rough hacking of the / shears held in her hands. In the corner sits a fool / the flowers of praise / once heaped upon her / now lie dead, turning to dust / borne away on the winds / of her own self disgust. In the corner sits a fool / her fine raiment / once worn so proudly / now ripped to shreds / by the talons of the many / whose den she accidently stumbled upon. In the corner sits a girl / broken but… / never beaten, / who belatedly realises / she has been played for a / fool Her tears now spent, / she raises her head defiantly, / fixes a baleful stare / upon the cause of her suffering / and whispers… / never again

I’ve spent the last 24 hours trying to find the name of this Australian native plant, commonly known as ‘Billy Buttons’, or botanic name ‘Helipterum Craspedioides’. This image was taken at the Cranbourne Botanic Gardens. / Nikon D200 / Processed in RAW..

We have done what we wanted. / We have discarded dreams, preferring the heavy industry / of each other, and we have welcomed grief / and called ruin the impossible habit to break. And now we are here. / The dinner is ready and we cannot eat. / The meat sits in the white lake of its dish. / The wine waits. Coming to this / has its rewards: nothing is promised, nothing is taken away. / We have no heart or saving grace, / no place to go, no reason to remain...M. This is simply, milk with green food dye and a spot light shining down into it. The dye eventually spread through it, making it look quite toxic. I layered the image once, dulling the colour on one layer, and brightening on the other. Slight crop of original. The vivid lighting gave me high contrast and accentuated the darkness of the green centre. featured in The World as We See It 10-05-2009 Lonely is the night without you / Just as lonely as the shepherd without sheep / And where flies the falcon, / In the high sweet air / Without hunting this Sprane Valleys deer She wears softness as a gown / She spreads magic all around / Her feathers still untouched / She takes but nothing and she gives so much She flies on strange wings / She flies on strange winds / She brings strange things / She flies on strange wings She takes off when she desires / Silence grows on her lips / She can bring you so much higher / She spreads love on all her trips, yeah She flies on strange wings / She flies on strange winds / She brings strange things / She flies on strange wings Woke up this morning / And this feeling came to my head / To fly with her from sky to sky / ‘Cause my mind seemed to be dead / So I floated up towards her / On my mutilated wings / But all the blackness sings against me now / It’s the lady of the strange wings She wears softness as a gown / She spreads magic all around / Her feathers still untouched / She takes but nothing and she gives so much She flies on strange…........... / / created with Incendia & PSP
