- Copyright by Mohsen Bayramnejad. has been nominated for the prestigious Pay it Forward Group by one of my favourite photographers, Kevin Skinner / a real honor for me and my simple Image, here is what he said: “The reason for this is a number of reasons. I love B&W imagery and my main passion lies with Intimate Landscape shots. Although this isn’t a Landscape (obviously), it holds the very qualities that I look for in a B&W: contrasts, textures and, most of all, detail. This image stands out from the rest as there is an absolute detail and an ineffable quality that makesit a stunning piece of work. / Also the photographer is a excellent artist and his portfolio is a must to drop by and look at as his people photgraphy is first class. / One of my favourite photographers and one of the reasons why I so glad I joined RB to experience such great work.” Thank You So Much, Kevin! Update: / - featured in the Live, Love, Dream Group. / - Wins the Group Avatar challenge of Pay It Forward group.

This painting is a portrait of myself and my oldest daughter. Acrylic Artist’s Colors on Canvas / H22” x W22” / Black Matte Gallery Frame / 2007 SOLD / South Side Community Art Center 43rd Annual Art Auction & Fundraiser / Saturday, May 17, 2008
Acrylic on Canvas 1m x 1m. This started out as a self portrait, bright and happy like many of my figurative works, but as I continued I was thinking of the concept of authenticity. Suddenly I was squirting charcoal paint over the canvas. My subconscious took over from the conscious. I am so excited about this work. I feel it to be unconventional in regards to my usual style, although I haven’t yet settled on a specific style. This work has inspired me to go on a quest into the realms of the landscapes of the mind and soul and explore the archeypes of humanity. I feel I am about to embark on an exciting journey. Sold to a collector in Texas. Enjoy, comment freely and all my thanks as always – Carmen ; ) (PLEASE VIEW LARGER VERSION… ENJOY THE SYMBOLS & INTERPRET AT YOUR LEISURE)
Looking over the precipice…. only to see yourself.
My latest self-portrait; I am my art and my art is myself. Original work is 18”x24”, acrylic paint on masonite panel.
...or, so I thought.
Another Photoshop art project using mulitple layers and filters for final effect. Filters include Redfield plugin Fractalius as well as various brushes & textures within the layers. The image consists of my eyes, my zodiac sign (Leo) and my favourite insect, in what has become an uninteded self portrait of sorts…(I am said I). I Am Said I. Watch him play this wonderful song, and turn your speakers up high. He is so young and down-right cute in this video, and this performance is outstanding. /

The reconstruction of self from outside perceptions. If one tries to build a persona based on other people’s perceptions of Self, one may be faced with a Frankenstein-ization of self that can distort beyond recognition the true Self inside. This bogus persona, a mumbo-jumbo of perceptions, opinions, sick mutilations of character, well or ill intended feedback, etc., is a reductio ad absurdum case based on fleeting, stroboscopic and colour-blind views of one great Soul. Yours. Mine. One possible escape: one must look first and foremost inside one Self, then shine the light from the inside out, so as to never let the dark get inside. —-—-—— Bogus Persona was featured in / CORE [C.O.R.E] group / and / Freedom In Words and ART group

Soo I got alittle frustrated with all the smoke here in southern California, and noticed ash all over my patio….so decided to paint with it. / Just sad to see alll those trees and homes gone, and decided there must be some good somewhere from all this disaster and 2 lost firemen. This painting will be a reminder to me of the horrible loss, and the 2 men whom lost there lives because of someones evil selfish pleasure. ~Artistmind / myspace.com/Artistmind 8.5×11” card paper / mixed medium: ink oil paint, earth, ash, watercolor, acrylic, paint
