Three seperate canvases combine to create Scribbly Gum Tryptch / Oil on scretched Canvas. / 3 x (34cm x 120cm) Layers of subtle glazes were used trying to create a flowing natural backgroud to this magnificent variety of gum trees. The texture of the knots were equally important. Leaving the looseness of the larval tracks to the last. This work was created to support an upcoming exhibition by the Southern Printmakers Association entitled ‘Earthwritings’. / More of my Works /

I am the artist of this piece, it is an oil painting on canvas of sizes 2.4m wide x 1.6m high. It illustrates our lives as individuals, lonely amongst other life forms that we don’t connect with.

Original – SOLD – oil on canvas – It is a celebration of women and their ability to gather together harmoniously and share their strengths weaknesses hopes and dreams. I briefly studied art in South Australia and while doing so met such a broad range of women typical here and elsewhere who by drawing strength from each other and their environment create not only art but each other. They network and share good times and bad and never cease to amaze me.

Can you imagine… Being born into a world that buys and sells you like a piece of meat at a market? Being forced to work long hours that most adults cannot imagine? Being brain washed into thinking that your self worth is zero? Can you imagine… Never feeling the love of family or parents? Never knowing what it is to be free let alone have the hope or dream of freedom? Never being allowed the simplest of human rights? All of the earnings for the sales of items relating to “My daughter is an Asian slave child” parts one and two here on Red Bubble will be donated to the World Children’s Fund.
