  • Webb Bridge is down-to-earth, a project Melbourne can be proud of, built among the superannuated towers of Docklands. It suggests, romantically, the fishing nets, cages, middens and naughty hosiery of the old wharfs. It is biological and ethereal, a stab in the dark and sculptural.

  • Boredom can make you come up with some strange things! :)

  • This photo was taken at the National Gallery of Victoria on St. Kilda Rd, Melbourne. There was a girl resting on one of the concrete slabs. Highlighting her was what I wanted to achieve in this image. The large black area in this is the archway entrance and reflection to the building.

  • Found this lurking in a hard drive. Taken from the Eureka tower last year just before they banned cameras in ‘The Edge’ – a glass ‘box’ that extends out from the top floor and hangs over the city 92 floors below. This image was taken through the floor of ‘The Edge’. I adjusted the levels aggressively and burned the reflections of the people to make them stand out more. /

  • Melbourne Graffiti / Changes on a daily basis / My quest is to record as much as possible /

  • I’ve spent the last 24 hours trying to find the name of this Australian native plant, commonly known as ‘Billy Buttons’, or botanic name ‘Helipterum Craspedioides’. This image was taken at the Cranbourne Botanic Gardens. / Nikon D200 / Processed in RAW..

  • During last weeks trip to Melbourne I went on an evening stroll and found this line of columns and light at the front of the General Post office (GPO) in the heart of the city. The lines and shapes made for an interesting almost abstract look. The tunnel effect here puzzled me at first as there seemed to be a line working bottom right to top left as well. It was as if the bottom left of the shot separated itself from the rest of the image…...maybe it was just because I was tired by then!!!!! Now that I look at it again is it a line that works from bottom Left to the right???? Lines – lines – lines…..... Canon 400D – 17-85 lens.
