Captured along my travels… ok…. Alot of my descriptions begin that way so here is more info… LOL! Saturday morning walked to my nearest polling booths, voted and continued walking the streets of Brunswick. That is where I stumbled across this vehicular beauty!! I was fascinated with a stone wall I discovered in San Francisco, CA. The lines, textures and colors of the stones made for an incredible sight—very large too. The model was dressed in similar colors, so I merged the layers for the grunge-y effect. FEATURED in First Things ~ thank you dear hosts! by retepkIt started with photographed street lights in foggy darkness and modified using the liquefy tool. Subsequently layered with elements from several other photographs, some of which were also “liquefied”, and shapes and textures that were Photoshop -generated. It involved 31 layers in hue, overlay, lighten, pin, linear and hard lights, multiply, exclusion, difference, colour, screen and normal modes. Criticism always welcome.

Mixed Media / The face was a photo, a portrait of the wonderful friend for her birtday… .I painted over it. I know it’s still a bit sketchy , I may refine it someday when I have free time though.
