  • I remember watching my father use this typewriter when I was a kid and marvelling at it as it banged and dinged away. It’s a beautiful masterpiece of craftsmanship and history. • A close-up of a flower in the sun. /

  • Macro photograph from a rock. I adjusted the contrast and colour a little to bring out these amazing natural colours in the rock. I have no idea what type of rock this is, but wow, the colours just drew me right in!!!! Featured in Textures group 3rd Jan, 2009

  • A very close view of the delicate fibers of a sea sponge glowing with golden light and a beautiful natural abstract quality. All artwork is © Rhonda L. Hall, All Rights Reserved. You may not use, replicate, manipulate, redistribute, or modify this image without my express consent. sc

  • I love to shoot abstracts, when you look at an image and have to stop and think for a second as to what the object might be. What I love even more is to take abstracts of seemingly ordinary things. If you haven’t figured it out yet this is a shot of an old tire.

  • I love how water clings to different objects and creates such shapes… This is just an ordinary dandelion puffy thing after it rained one day. Taken with a Sigma 105mm macro lens…

  • A fading bloom in my garden… the petals would curl up at the end of it’s life cycle.

  • Outcropping along the beach made from the water carrying sand & built-up layers over the years Rocky Wonder / Top 10 in Cracks In Nature Nature’s macro Canvass July 2009 / Featured in Alphabet Soup July 2009

  • Experiment with metallic blue paper and using my flash…

  • I took this photo one morning in a brief moment of sunshine through my kitchen window. I have tried to improve on it on a number of occasions (more sunny mornings) but somehow I can’t duplicate everything happening in this photo…so I’m finally sharing the original. / / / / Featured in the 1:1 Macro Photography group on 9 Nov. 2008 / / Featured in the Featuring the Shadows Photography group on 15 Nov. 2008 Featured on the HOME PAGE of Redbubble on July 17, 2009 / / /

  • You know the grips in a water bottle… well that’s what this is. I took the aquafina label off, and put some colorful wrapping paper behind it. There was a few bubbles in the water, which looked cool with the texture of the bottle. It looks like a droplet continuously dropping into a puddle to me…haha. Enjoy! I used my 105mm macro lens for this.

  • This was an experiment with objects and how light bounces off of them. I found this spring and put a few seed beads on it which gave off a weird bokeh effect when placed on a CD. I used my sigma macro lens and the flash on my camera… More experimenting to come though! Enjoy!

  • Simply water droplets and the patterns they make… This is condensation on a water bottle, I used my macro lens for this one and the background was my computer screen. :D Enjoy!
