A tree reflected in the Garden of Eden ~ Watarrka (Kings Canyon) National Park, Northern Territory, Australia. This is a spectacular water hole surrounded by unique palms in the middle of the parched “Red Center”. I’ve reduced it to black and white and then added some different toning to the shadows and highlights. / Canon G6.

Several years ago I had the honor of meeting a man who was the first photojournalist on the scene of the Chernobyl disaster. We collaborated on a photo project of his images, negatives that he kept in suitcases all those years, for the twentieth anniversary of the event. He is larger than life, a man who has survived, who still takes photographs and who never ceases to inspire me.

Apophysis fractal no postwork except cropping. It’s a two for one! I couldn’t decide which song I liked best, I’ve been a huge fan of Crosby, Stills and Nash forever and also the Grateful Dead. I like each tune equally!! So…... not to decide is to decide! heh heh Here’s Crosby, Stills & Nash’s Dark Star with some very cool fractal looping video, how apropos huh?! My whole gang lined up along the fence near the barn and the colors and lines of their backs made such a pretty landscape I had to get this picture before they all headed back out to pasture.
