Water beads on a glass patio table. / /
Rain drops on a window, forming a beaded-curtain effect with golden out-of-focus orbs from the patio outside. I had my camera with me while in a cafe with my daughter and my sister, and I spotted the raindrops … then those golden orbs appeared in the viewfinder too. A lucky bonus! / . / I’m delighted that this photo has been featured on RedBubble’s front page - / . / / .

Golden Wattle, fairy stuff / Little balls of yellow fluff / Hear the bees how loud they hum / To say they’re glad that Spring is come When the stars begin to peep / Then the wattle falls asleep / Like a tired child in bed / It droops its pretty curly head Anon.

I’m actually at a loss for a title…too late at night…should have been asleep an hour ago :-) Maybe tomorrow ???? Well, tomorrow is here and I’ve had three title suggestions…2 of which are going into my little black book for further image tiles….Justlinda…suggested ‘Blue Bird’ and Carolyn Staut suggested Fidelity’. Thank you, ladies :-) In my sleepy state, I did wonder about leaving the title as I had put it…but then this morning, when Nodakami suggested simply adding a question mark….bells rang…so that is exactly what I’ve done. Thank you Nod.
A nicely lit sculpture in Melbourne. Melbourne looks so nice especially at night and on a mild spring evening. What could be better….....

Well, I have had a bit of time to play lately and this is one result. I just adore the golden harvest colors of this labyrinth. I hope you enjoy it as well.
This image is a collaboration with Mark Peterson He has used my photograph “Milky Quartz Abstract” below to create this amazing image which he has named “Quartz Wave”. Please go to his profile and check out his truly amazing images. There certainly will be more collaborations to come! :) /
This is a ruby red lacewing butterfly, and the way it had it’s proboscis inserted into the flower made me think of that moment when we first get a nice thick milkshake, and we are sucking hard on the straw, fighting against the frozen delight to extract it’s sweet creaminess!

“A human being is a part of a whole, called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest… a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” – Albert Einstein
