Always sad to see the ones that get frozen in time without any escape. The only thing that makes up for it is the breathtaking beauty of the “motionless motion”.

It’s often easy to forget that the journey is often richer then achieving the goal itself. The process of searching for the perfect corona (splash) in pure water has reminded me of this lesson. Currently at over three thousand attempts I can see why some say this search can drive a man mad. Judging by some of the things I see in the images in this collection, I fit this description. My friends would say they already knew this. Regardless I would like to share with you this image from my collection about my continuing journey, searching for the perfect corona which includes various themes and abnormalities I have captured in this process. / / Joel Nikon D70, Sigma Macro Lens, SB-600 Flash
