Mixed media painting….wasn’t too sure of the title….but what the heck! It looks like a sun beginning life. So….I’ve got a strange mind :-) / I also used PSPX to add to the painted image
Here is an old macro of a water drop in a bougainvillea flower. I’ve sat on this one for a while but always kept coming back to it so finally decided to share! I title this image ‘precious’, for the precious resource which I photographed; water.

I also experimented with this image in photoshop. I cut, cropped and merged two flowers from two different pictures together. I dusted them lightly with clouds (photoshop brushes) of different colors, basic brushes, special effect brushes and sharpened the image (filter gallery). I also altered the color (filter forge) and detail. Then I added swirls and leaves (more photoshop brushes) and added some style to it. I love the way this came out!!

An experiment with some drying out iris petals, some pink cello and a lamp. Threw in some texture layers and this is what it turned out like. / It is probably a stretch, but to me they look a little like ballerinas with winged costumes peering from behind the curtain before the show looking out into the audience. Ok – its a stretch but its what I see (at almost 11pm at night…..lol). Camera – Nikon D90 / Lens 18-55mm
Gerbra Dream / Experiment with pink cello & a lamp, this time using a gerbra and catching its reflection in the cello. Camera – Nikon D90 / Lens 18-55mm
