This work was created in oils, and depicts two human figures; the blue figure is disassembled from a fetal position and is segmented about the composition, the other more predominant and central figure (painted in warm red tones) is mildly distorted. There are various smaller images used as collage, accenting certain parts of the figures and words highlighting particular concepts. The extremely dark hues in the painting actually comprise a full circle, and they are scattered about (broken apart), helping balance in value, some of the other shapes. There are different positive and negative spatial relationships and symbiotic line elements that I had worked within the painting, which I find to be very intriguing. Please let me know your thoughts as to what you can decipher. This painting was produced in 2005.
