This is obviously not an original idea, and I want to thank both ECGardner and Angelique Brunas for their works along these lines that motivated me to explore my own creativity. I hope they do not mind my using their work as a basis for my inspiration, and I am still working to achieve the balance, beauty, and artistry they have exhibited through their respective nature based collages! I will give folks a while to guess what the various panes are comprised of, they should be pretty easy to figure out, later I will insert the proper descriptions of their contents. Digital collage and painting. / This mostly abstract artwork is composed of layered photographs of diverese subjects from beer bubbles to eucalypt bark, painterly brushstrokes and scanned roots.

In this abstract, I have attempted to capture the essence of an Arabic street market scene. / I worked quickly and used instinct and subconscious, rather than technical composition skill. I have used glued painted paper shapes, then painted an impressionist watercolour scene around the collage. 16th Sept 2008 update. / I’m currently working on a larger, watercolour-only, version of this 14”x10”. / less abstract and more real, but with impressionistic aspects.

Work exhibited in the Visual Arts Association Group Exhibition ‘Four Seasons’, held Cairns Regional Gallery, Qld. / The exhibition theme was inspired by the Vivaldi’s music ‘The Four Seasons’. Mixed media – archival black ink, acrylic, collage – paper painted, mono & screen-printed, drawing, photo; screen-printed cotton fabric, carpet material; on canvas. Background: I had been working individually on art compositions relative to my passion to interpret music, rhythm, movement and energy through the use of formal visual art elements ie. line, colour, tone, shape, texture and art media. The interpretation of any music requires one’s senses to hear and feel, absorb sound and energies, to internalize and contemplate, as apposed to recording information seen/perceived through the eyes from the physical ‘outer’ world. One has to create and interpret a visionary abstract, from a pure transitional and spiritual sensual state, from one’s own internal environment, the knowledge, understanding and experience one brings to canvas for the moments of manifestation. I jumped at the chance when this exhibition theme came up. Also I am much inspired by Kandinsky and his work, a long time favourite art philosopher and mentor. ....................................... /

This for you Terez , my lovely daughter , she died when she was nearly 15 …... Thank you my friends your comments and support mean a lot to me. I had this pain bottled up in me so so long… but I knew and hoped with time passing things will change and turn out good… I was right, things started to unfold last week and I could just see and feel it. Working with this wonderful model just inspired me and brought all those feelings up from my heart, bones and my most inner part. I also experimented with this image in photoshop. I cut, cropped and merged two flowers from two different pictures together. I dusted them lightly with clouds (photoshop brushes) of different colors, basic brushes, special effect brushes and sharpened the image (filter gallery). I also altered the color (filter forge) and detail. Then I added swirls and leaves (more photoshop brushes) and added some style to it. I love the way this came out!!

I been really having a hard time lately things are in a swirl just when you think the world might balance out for you you get mixed up in another scam / another jam / another flimflamming frieken blame it on whoever im tired of looking / down I am coming up / im coming on up to the side where / you can see me even if in pursuit of what is not there only created by divine ness. Isa.. thinking out load.. / i must have two hundred different abstracts.. and thought I would share with you once in a while .. as I loaded this one up .. these were the words I wrote.. so .. hoping they make someone see something.. I dont know . lol. ,,and there is one friend whom tells me to take some abstracts and make a collection of them .. and make a collage. so that is my next project. .. always in pursuit of the next thing , I guess.
