  • Mixed medium painting of an abstract with desert earth tones.

  • Here is another one from my macro collection. Again, I’m my own worse critic so wasn’t too sure about this one so I’ll let you decide.

  • At first I created a fractal design, After that I used a kind of filters to get this endresult.

  • Communication. All parts of the universe are in direct and indirect communication with each other. This abstract was inspired by my physiology background. Transformed into an artistic concept. Blood red capillaries connect every visual aspect, within this abstraction. The flow comes in from the right, bringing oxygen to all parts and taking away wastes, exits right, once again – a continual cycle of replenishment and life. The fine red capillaries are always in communication. Notice that the free ends of the searching red vessels, are curled as they coil and endlessly endeavour to find each other. Communication. Watercolour. / 12×17 inches. .

  • BLOOD GARDENS Toil and toil / Toil and toil / The blood from my hands / The sweat from my brow / Nourish this garden of my creation. Paul Alleyne -2/25/08

  • Oil on canvas, 18” x 14” (457×356mm)

  • Sometimes a scream is justified, and it can last long enough to allow small dribbles of drool, and tears of blood. The heat of it licking like flames. The duration draining focus—primal intensity.

  • As with any King, you must request audience before entry! Bow Bird Bow. This is a red aristocat blue blood, bright, bold and commanding of respect, all under the cloak of cute! Don’t you hate that when that happens! • This took me much longer than I had hoped. I have final in 2 weeks and instead of studying I’m doing fucking art because I can’t control my addiction >;) Before I indulge with my thoughts on this, note that all of my facts are not straight and that this is merely coming from an emotional outlet. Here in Ohio, gas has dropped well below to the 1.79 price range. Still kind of high from only 5 years ago but compared to where we were at 2 months ago, I’m not complaining. What bothers me is that the “higher ups” in the oil industry would say that they have to raise prices to match the barrel of gas price and still make profit. Yet as some know, their profits are in the billions from the past 3 years. It seems like if the sky looked a little less blue and more cloudy that the gas prices would rise yet we are told that prices aren’t effected at the pumps until 6 weeks later. Seems a bit off to me. So I imagine what these “king’s of oil” look like and how they feed off of the blackness that plagues our existance. Like blood, oil courses through their veins, oozing from every orifice and pore of their body. It allows them the privelige of life, while the rest of us suffer. But what will happen when we drain our planet of it’s oil? Will it wither away as the black gold king’s surely will? and we will be left to clean up the mess. BTW – In case you didn’t know…this shit is copyrighted, and so help me god if I find it stolen, I will rape your eye sockets….legally of course ;)

  • Abstract sound wave

  • The Scream is basically a piece about violence against women, a subject that really sensitizes me not only for being a woman, but also for being human and for dreaming and working for a better world based on respect and equality. I didn’t want a piece that was oppressing or showed only the pain of the violence or abuse. I wanted something dynamic, that could have a “voice”, that could help people to reflect about how to change things. The symbolism of the piece is quite simple and direct. There’s a dual figure in the center. She might be the same woman in two different attitudes, if you like. The red-haired one is scared and in pain. She holds her bleeding heart and wears a mask to keep herself hidden from judgment or other losses. She might be the one who was raped in a party after drinking too much, the one who was abused for a family member but preferred to hide in order to do not cause disturbances in the family, the one who was beaten for her husband but kept silent for fear of losing her children. She might be one of the Congo women. She might be me, or you. The black-haired woman doesn’t wear a mask. She is screaming – although sometimes I think that she is in fact singing. What she releases from within herself is a bird, red as life. Is the desire for freedom from a world conquered by force, not love. She screams her right to be treated as a human being instead of a second-class citizen, as a partner instead of a subordinate. Her right to express her own ideas and have their own attitudes without being demonized for them. There are also masks at the bottom, a pile of masks without faces behind them. They once belonged to women who decided to scream instead of keep silent and anonymous. That decided to stop pretending that that’s how the world is and there’s nothing that can be done to change it. But there’s so much one can do just by having a voice… And use it to demand respect for being human is urgent.
