This is a cartoon that a lot of people liked and so I thought it might make a good t-shirt. Or not.
Please view larger for details…. This swarm of bees decided to drop a visit to my Preschool. I immediately went in to protective mode…got all 84 kids inside while the bees were swarming the back yard looking for a place to make their honeycomb and then of course after taking care of a few bee stings, removing some stingers and giving love to the kids that got stung, I got my camera and went back outside. I have never seen anything like this and thought I would share it with you. I guess the bees were camera shy – after about an hour they left – I of course was outside when the swarm left taking pictures. The things we do…..no bee stings for me! I watched “the last unicorn” not long ago… and the legend in that movie is that a greedy sorcerer wanted all of the unicorns for himself. Acting on his desires, he captured all of the unicorns and cast them into the sea. Every morning when the sun rises, the unicorns ride the tide in… only to be carried away as the day continues… never reaching the shore. Bullwonky. Somebody saw some Narwhals riding the tide and was too blind to realize they were whales and not, in fact, beautiful horned horses. TRUE STORY. // some of my other work:
this is a photo i took and re-worked it a bit and added some color to a rose a feather and a butterfly i had caught, i hope you love this my friends…....its for all of you here at Red Bubble and to all who come to see it..and read the poem..thinking about you today and everyday—with you in MIND! / in NC>USA>Photos-Artwork-From Texas all my life and now i live in NC, the best part of the World. (Blessings I knelt to pray when day was done / And prayed, “O Lord, bless everyone, / Lift from each saddened heart the pain / And let the sick be well again.” And then I woke another day / And carelessly went on my way, / The whole day long I did not try / To wipe a tear from any eye. / I did not try to share the load / Of any brother on the road. I did not even go to see / The sick man just next door to me. / Yet once again when day was done / I prayed, “O Lord, bless everyone.” But as I prayed, into my ear / There came a voice that whispered clear, / “Pause now, my son, before you pray. / Whom have you tried to bless today? Gods sweetest blessing always go / By hands that serve him here below.” / And then I hid my face and cried, / “Forgive me, God, I have not tried, / But let me live another day / And I will live the way I pray.”
