When I took this photograph I was standing about 100m away with my telephoto lens zoomed in on the doorway because I liked its blue colouring. Just as I released the shutter, the lady stepped through the doorway. It was a perfect moment!

From a project entitled ‘hay bales and onion balls’. / I was driving home to Wellington from my parents house in Masterton and spotted this scene that beckoned capture. / I’ve always loved these old falling down houses and barns and know that one day they will most certainly all be gone. The cloud, the symbol of the ethereal heights of heaven, represents the quality of higher truth. Yun in chinese which means benifical rain. decorated with waves or Po Lan in chinese meaning Dragons abode (You be of the eddge of the map son here be dragons!). with the use of the Rising sun Kyokujitsu-ki (旭日旗) when its full represented it is A variant of the sun disc design is the sun disc with 16 red rays, which was also historically used by Japan’s military. however it carries alot of negative conitation as it was used by the japanese imperial army in the second world war. ussaly i wouldnt use such a contenious imagry. but in my mind if we forget about war we shall repeat it. remeber ,forgive, move on. shame it cant be aplyed to everything in live hey? / in victoria when we go through VCE which are our last exams where given a number it’s sort of our study number . they call it the gat number. Usally most people do theory subjects so that’s all they see of it. with the exception of my dear brothers and sisters of the folio tribe we know our numbers of by heart as it stuck to EVERY PAGE IN A FOLIO! ( i did 4 with about 200 pages each that’s my excuse). i was 86212964F

She is a wonderful ruler but at times can be a harsh relative to the Princess. / In her efforts to teach her neice how to be a great ruler there have been times when she has been cruel. Even though her intentions have been good her ways of inflicting them may have been injurious. The Vanilla Queen is the main nemisis against the union between Princess Margaret & Penascus J. Salondomeer.
