Abandoned couch in Northcote.
This was an old abandoned home that was located on a bay. It was such a beautiful location and so sad to see that no one was living there. One the side of the home there was this window with weathered beaten curtains blowing about.
Self portrait from an abandoned mine site in the NV desert.
What’s left behind of an old pickup at an abandoned mine in NV.
Just another self portrait.
I’ll be uploading shots from my abandoned house series, so be / sure to check back. ;) / / When I got there, this is what greeted me. Believe it or not, / I didn’t alter the hues at all, only enhanced them. I couldn’t resist / going in… / / / / / / More from this series: / / Tattered And Torn / Wild Horses / Watch Your Step / 1989 / I Remember You / / >featured Home Page<
The abandoned farmhouse continues! / / After I opened the front door, I couldn’t go in. / There was a huge drop off there, so I had to go / around. When I went inside, this is what I saw. / (And sadly, the door in my “Welcome Home” photo had / been ripped off. But the ivy remained..) / / I’ll be adding more from this series later, so keep checking back! ;) / / / / / / More from this series: / / Welcome Home / Tattered And Torn / Wild Horses / 1989 / I Remember You /
This is exactly how it looked in 1989. The ivy stays here year round. It’s weird, because it’s barren outside; winter. But when you step inside (which isn’t hard..you simply step through the wall) it looks like a summer day. Very odd & surreal feeling. Taken last week, standing in the basement looking up at the back door. More from the abandoned farmhouse series soon. :) And Happy New Year everyone!! / It’s 8:37 p.m. here. I get the feeling I’m the last sober one around here.(not for long…ha.) / / >featured< / sold: 2 mounted prints (RB artists) / / More from this series: / / Welcome Home / Tattered And Torn / Wild Horses / Watch Your Step / I Remember You / / /
I was coming home yesterday from an appointment downtown, / and happened to look over and see this place. It was completely / abandoned, along with garages, a barn and cars. Didn’t go in, (yet..heh) but I got a few good shots from the front. I added the flood..(to go with the title.) / / CS3/Corel/handheld/Samsung/HDR / I can’t even begin to list all of the things I did to this. / One filter conversion to the next applying and painting certain areas with the saturation brush, then repeating the process + / overlays & more fine tuning! Thanks for checking it out. :) / / / Special thanks to Kevin Kroeker for being a major inspiration with HDR. You can check out some of his truly amazing HDR work here: click me!
A rare black and white… ...me, standing at the industrial site the other day. / (I’m a huge fan of all things industrial..) /
Original photography. Looking through the window of an abandoned house in rural North Carolina.
Santa Marta, Colombia ! Walking along the beach, I had to improvise a bit without my tripod ! / Anyway this inconvenient gives me the chance sometimes to take pictures I wouldn’t probably take ! - Please alsp view… / / . / / .
This photo was taken at the Animal Welfare League in Wingfield, South Australia. No photoshop was used other than to alter the colours a bit. The puppy’s smile, although blurred due to depth of field (i was using a 50mm f/1.4 at 1.4 focussing only on her eyes) was real! This puppy was adopted shortly after.
This abandoned house was found on the highway, just out of Clare (2 hours north of Adelaide), South Australia, Australia. I have changed it to sepia to add to the mood. This was taken with a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera.
Aren’t you glad this isn’t your home?? My husband and I drove by this abandoned house the other day. This is the first time I’ve been able to get inside one. Usually I’m toting the kids, and can only get a quick shot of the outside. Oh man, this place was TRASHED! But so fun to photograph! Unfortunantly, I didn’t have a tripod, nor was there really anything to use as one, so only a couple of my HDR shots didn’t turn out a complete blury.
