This is a shot from Aarons second headshot session we did today. He got his hair cut and he grew out some facial hair a bit. I adore this shot of him and wanted to share this lighting setup because it worked magic on him…I am sure plenty of people have figured this out already but it is kind of new for me so yeah. I stood on a chair since Aaron is pretty tall and I wanted to be eye level or a little higher than him. I had my softbox turned horizontal above and behind me pretty much putting light almost straight down on his face. I then I had my oval reflector right under his face to bounce the light back into his eyes. It created smooth lighting onto his face while still having depth. The background is a white background very lightly lit with a back light but I had Aaron stand so far from the background it appears gray/blue.

Being a Queen usually means you have to sit around and look pretty while events unfold in front of you. This is no different for our resident Miss Rodeo Okotoks, Aaron Courchesne, during most of the events although she did get to help herd the calves out of the arena most of the night. SC work

Taken in the Sandia Foothills early July. The colors here are close to what was actually going on that evening – a warm, purple/red light bathing everything. Quite a magical 20 minutes.

These hands belong to Aaron of Crimson Anchor Tattoo Studio in Tampa Florida. I must say this guy is a KILLER artist and a REALLY nice guy to boot. I had the pleasure of hanging out with him and Marcus in Chillicothe Ohio at the Easyriders Rodeo 2007. I’ll use Aarons words to describe the party we were just attending from Sept 1 – 3…... RETARDED. 30 cases of beer in two days between 16 people…...WTF?? I’m still recovering…...

This old stone was found in a cemetery in it’s own little fenced in area. I think Mr. Richey had something to do with the little Florida town that I live in called New Port Richey. I am an amature genealogist & I should try to find out some info on him.
