This photograph, taken with an Ilford box camera around 1956 ,of my husband [to be] Austin A 90 and with black and while film is typical of the way guys used to photograph their girlriends .Done in the fifties,and kept in a box of old photos.of my husbands It had aged into sepia, One of his ex girlfriends. Untouched ,just scanned and left as is. / !

A letter to my mum My spirit / My strength / My naughty side / All born from you / I hold with pride / No longer / Long distance / I will feel you near / The love that I missed / Will all become clear / Looking up to the sky / Forever more / I can put a face to an Angel / The one I’ll adore / So hold on tight / You’ll feel my love / I’ll speek to you / Through the clouds above / I am who I am / Your strongest one / To honour your love / Like the warming sun / The life you deserved / Has now just begun / My deserving beautiful incredible mum It takes so much / For me to ask / I know that you will / No doubt your first task / My baby sister who never came home / Embraced in your arms / Now never alone / Squeeze her for me / And throw in tickle covered kisses / Each time l think of the sea / / I’ll rest in the love / Of feeling your wings / I’ll dance with you both / Each time my heart sings R.I.P My mum passed away by what l now call ‘self euthanasia’ Thankyou to a nurse called Sharron who sat on a chair beside my bed at 2am with a torch for an hour helping make sense of a few things playing on my mind. Yes a form of suicide same depth of tragedy same depth of importance. Mum had found out that she didn’t have long to live as the cancer had spread to her stomache & liver. In the past few weeks l have found out that l have breast cancers & cancer in the lympthnodes just this week l have had a mastectomy. l am in the best hands possible with the most loving support so l have every intention to beat this & have heard many possotive stories of women beating this & going on to living full long lives XXXXXXXXXX l came here to the 90 mile beach 3 days before my operation it was the best thing l could do to clear my head

ALF is a half-hour American television sitcom that originally ran on NBC from 1986 to 1990 and was created by Paul Fusco. The title character was Gordon Shumway, a friendly extraterrestrial nicknamed ALF (for Alien Life Form) who crash lands in the garage of the suburban middle class Tanner family. The series stars Max Wright as father Willie Tanner, Anne Schedeen as mother Kate Tanner, and Andrea Elson and Benji Gregory as their children, Lynn and Brian Tanner.
