You all know this car
Taken at Oran Park last year. It was the last time the V8’s were going to race there. A sad time for them.

There is a path that runs all the way into Fira, the main town on Santorini, Greece. We took this path to go into Fira, with plenty of photo opportunities on the way. Taken with a Fuji Finepix S5700. Featured in Windows and Doors late 2008, and European Everyday Life, June 2009.
This is my new Ukranian Kiev 88 Medium format camera system. It is essentially a blatant copy of the Hasselblad 1000s or 1600f, at a fraction of the price. The upside of buying this reasonably priced hunk of cast aluminiam, is that it takes Zeiss, Pentacon 6 and other lenses. Camera: Mamiya c33, Sekor-Mamiya 65mm lens Film: ILFORD FP4 Exposure: 1/60 at f2.8 Tripod used
Yeah, probably a little cliche and over used, but I had to find something my new Kiev 88’s ridiculously fast, fun, and unnessessary shutter speed of 1/1000th of a secound could snap! Camera: Kiev 88, with Arsat 80mm lens Film: Ilford Delta 400 (120mm) ISO was 160 Exposure: 1/1000 of a secound at f5.6 Tripod used
Camera: Kiev 88, with 80mm arsat lens with tripod Film: Kodak portra 160vc (120mm)....... ISO 160 Exposure: about 4 secs at f8
Emblem from an Oldsmobile Rocket 88 circa 1954 – 1958.

Mr. Smith had an Oldsmobile. Baby blue with wire wheels…. She’s a rocket; She was made to burn.
This building is in the Lakewood Heritage Center here in Lakewood CO. Lived here all my life and never knew this was there! Its such an amazing site to see. All the old historic buildings that we actually moved to this location!!! / Ethel’s Beauty Salon/88¢ Variety Store, an art moderne/art deco style building, has been used as a laundry/cleaners, a five-and-dime store, and finally a beauty parlor/barbershop. 57 Oldsmobile Super 88 convertible in cascade green with butterscotch interior! 331 cubic inch V8 provided plenty of oomph, although the 2-speed hydramatic tranny left something to be desired… / Captured at Cars & Coffee, Irvine, CA August 09 / Nikon D40, Nikkor 18-55
Artwork Worktime: 12 hours Listen to: PSYCHOTIC WALTZ – into the everflow (1992) No Stock-Material use! Into the everflow I climb up to the mountain / Just to share my point of view / Of life, the universe and everything / I’ll take you to the fountain / Just to have a drink with you / A slow and everlasting dream / And if we are here just to ease God’s sorrow / Lord come to me and I’ll ease your mind / Come to me cause I know it’s my only way out of this place / And I know it will come in time / Don’t take my away too soon / But please don’t be late for me / And he dipped his head into the existential void / Where he called into wall of silent empty ears / Among the sea of tangled mouths gnashing / Singing their hideous shrieking smile / A hard flowing river of hellos he could not wade against / He could not wade against them / Tortured tongues feast their frenzy / They hiss out that is nothing / The night time of the hearing flower / Has put aside the laugh dancing flame / No longer warming the wings / Of their fluttering dust angel mistress / The petals have closed for this long night / Their brittle limbs are thinning / Their meek and weeping gesture fares their well / To the falling paper blossoms / One by one, down into the everflow / One by one, down into the overflow / Gliding through the emptiness / Flying through the emptiness
