I’m not thrilled about the subject but this is history. We tend to reject almost immediately the nazi symbol, just by seeing it, let’s remember that this is a captured aircraft Very rare and authentic German Ju 87 Stuka dive bomber which is in excellent condition despite being shot down in the desert of Libya in 1941. I love the rear views of aircraft so I now draw/paint them regularly as most views are three quarter front. This is a redraw of of a previous picture. / This 87 (Fighter) Sqdn has the CO’s Squadron Leader pennant painted on the tail. / 87 Sqdn was a night fighter sqdn during the Battle of Britain so the planes were painted black. / This started as a watercolour but was finished with both soft pastel and oil pastel. / This plane was hangared at Real Aeroplane Company, Breighton, Nr Selby, just south of York when I lasted saw it. Unfortunately this aircraft crashed on the 15th September 2007 at the Shoreham Air Show, in West Sussex. The pilot Brian Brown died in the crash. / Original for sale. Size, 15×11inches, 37×28cms.

It’s all about perception. What might seem good or bad, or a problem to you, may not seem that way to someone else. So, does that make it not good, or bad, or a problem? Nope, it’s still the same situation. It’s just how you look at it that gives it power to do whatever it does to your life. When I first heard this, I thought “OK, if I don’t accept it, it’s not there!”. Well, it doesn’t work quite that easy I found out. But freaking out over something doesn’t work either. Find a balance in your perceptions. There’s lots of stuff that may seem like a disaster when it happens, but may also be an opportunity in disguise.
