Sitting on an empty number 72 tram, I decided to capture it’s interior. This is experimental, as i usually do exterior stills of architecture, rather than interiors of moving transportation!

When i was a child… every year we would take our vacation trip from mich. to miss to see relatives…on the way we would see these barns everywhere with ads on them…”see seven states from rock city” but my Dad would never take us to see it!! / So when we moved here that was one of the first places Bob and i saw on one of our road trips…i then wanted to take photos of all of the old barns and make a photo book of them,,, / sigh,,,someone allready did it! and…most of the barns have now disappeared as a past era. This one still remains in Rogersville, Al on hwy 72 / not one of my greatest pics, will be stopping again to update it!

Blossom’s_Photo_Gallery Coloured Sands – Northern Cooloola Section, Great Sandy National Park, Queensland. These fantastic sands in the “Red Canyon” have over 72 different hues. The 40 mile 4WD drive along the sandy beach is actually classed as a proper road and all road conditions apply.

The photograph this drawing is based on was a 35 mm slide I took about a year ago. Malvern road runs east to west, so the setting sun really perked up the colours inside and out of the tram. The tram was empty except for the driver, altough I think it’d help the scale of the image if there were some seated passengers. The image to me has a kind of manic state of mind attatched; everything is slightly off kilter, ultra saturated, and dazzling in some areas.

Highway 72, which turns north of the Trans Canada Highway to Sioux Lookout, takes a small dip, with water on both sides of the road. Vegetation of all sort flourish in this environment.
