This Ephemeral Healing Painting depicts the first version of the myth of nature which embraces the entity of Ra. In the myth an egg was laid upon this mound by a celestial bird. The egg contained Ra. In the original version of this variant, the egg is laid by a cosmic goose. However, after the rise of the cult of Thoth, the egg was said to have been a gift from Thoth, and laid by an Ibis, the bird with which he was associated. There is a wonderful gathering present in this painting, which is accentuated by the richness of cloth and movement. / I would suggest you look into the beliefs of The Egyptians, especially their diet. They believed certain foods were not fit for human consumption. This could be a very important revelation for you. Please investigate it if you can find the time. You have been placed on our healing list and we shall think of you daily! If you wish me to send this painting to you by email please let me / know.
Taken in New York several years ago in a very cold and snowy February. / Looking down I think 6th Avenue with Central Park behind me, I was trying to capture the birds as they flocked around the buildings when this wonderful lorry drove into view, that the dream of the city where fortunes can be won and lost in the grime and glamour of the city that never sleeps. Converted into a Holga/film effect

Morwenna, born around 480, was one of the many holy daughters of King Brychan Brycheiniog. / She was trained in Ireland before becoming one of the Welsh saints who crossed over to Cornwall. Morwenna made her home in a little hermitage at Hennacliff (the Raven’s Crag), afterwards called Morwenstow. It stands near the top of a high cliff looking over the Atlantic, where the sea is almost constantly stormy, and from where, in certain atmospheric conditions, the coast of Wales can be seen. She built a church there, for the local people, with her own hands. She carried the stone, on her head, from beneath the cliff and where she once stopped for a rest, a spring gushed forth. It can still be seen to the west of the church. When she was dying, her brother, St. Nectan, came to see her from Hartland and she bade him raise her up that she might look once more on her native shore. This occurred some time in the early 6th century, possibly on 24th July. From Early British Kingdoms Watercolours pencils on 24×32 cm watercolour paper (260g/m²) /
...Jung explains the phenomenon of a collective unconscious by saying that our mind, just as our body, has its history. In that sense our mind has been built up in the course of millions of years and represents the history of mankind. This is why archaic images are embedded in our collective unconscious. Cayce talks about the Akashic records where all Souls record their experiences on the earth-plane. If individual Souls in this vision have a history, these records hold mankind’s history. The beauty of Jung’s view is that these “records” are more or less available to man in the form of archetypes; in the collective unconscious. “The deepest layer we can reach in our exploration of the unconscious mind is the layer where man is no longer a distinct individual”, says Jung. There our mind widens out and merges into the mind of mankind – not the conscious mind, but the unconscious mind of mankind, where we are all the same. On this collective level we are no longer separate individuals, we are one…..... Words by Carl Gustav Jung Painting inspired by Jung, using acrylics, pigments, graphite September, 6th 2009
